He's a great player for sure but an even more important teammate to that England team. If you watch the 'rising sons' mini docs on Englands World Cup journey (highly recommend even if you weren't lucky enough to be born an Englishman...) you see that May is a clear leadership figure in that squad who is integral to the way they play.

Jonny is a fine rugby player, but how is just so fast?. He literally skins other players when he sets off.

Really hope he gets into the lions tour next year. Definitely deserves it

In this last 6n eng were getting banged hard by fra, Johnny basically scored 2 tries all on his own. He didnt even celebrate. He was like fuck this, job to do! Rallied his team but unfortunately it was too late in the game.

Then he really polished his basics and game reading and turned into the player he is

As a Bok fan I admit Jonny has been the best wing in the world for for few season. Shock exclusion on B&L squad. Nightmare against the Boks in 2018.
