The word crochet has such a wide area. I crocheted 100 hats for the homeless. I had just recovered from a accident on my motorcycle and was very happy to have something to be helpful and pass my time laying in this hospital bed. It left me with the ability çrochet just not walk. I felt so lucky. Then i woke up and found i was loosing the ability to feel and use my hands. I was sure I wasn't that bad in my life for God to punish me this way, but i have found with a good deal of help I can't fix it but I can go around the issue to get to the prize. My kids have put me in a nursing facility. My oldest daughter has scooped up all my yarn, Çrochet hooks and knitting needles. They won't bring them to me. Believe me I have asked, asked, and asked. Im so lucky one of the nurses here has made my life bearable. She has picked up some small things for me and showed me how to get around the Internet. Im a slow learner but I keep doing 😅😅😅

Hey girl!! I stumbled upon your channel a few days ago. And I must say. I’m in love!!!! You’re so soothing and funny and real. And I love your tips. And it’s so funny because at the end of this video someone asks the very question that I needed to hear the answer to as I am currently in the same place in life. I’m 41 years young and I am a great crocheter and I’m always trying to make something modern but boho styled and eye catching as I know what I want. Wow, I know that the lord works in mysterious ways, but this was special. My mother-in-law (not married yet, but she insisted I call her that!) passed away in June very unexpectedly. She loved to crochet! Got me back into it a couple of years ago. I am not sure why, but about a month or so ago, I had an urge so I picked up my hook again. I started watching videos on YT, and found a video where Elise was reviewing Happy Place and it brought me here!

First of all, I am so sorry for your family's loss. I know words don't begin to chip away at the hurt of losing someone special. My boyfriend's mother was from Cuba, and most of her family lives in south Florida, so we don't see them often, but they came up for the funeral; since then, my boyfriend, his sisters, and I talk to some of them on a weekly, if not daily, basis. It truly feels like family that he and I have been missing out for years now. When you mentioned meeting some of your husband's family for the first time, I just knew that I found my way to your channel for a reason! Thanks for all you do! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! :)
