You need to renegotiate that 25%. I get 74% and insurance, dispatch, and IFTA, are all included.

Truck drivers jobs are losing value daily, Last year I was working full time budgeting groceries, unable to afford date nights, and missing time with my kids just to make extra money. These days I learn how to make money online, Using my job to finance my goals, You can't be an employee forever everyone should know, homeschooling and making profits every week should be the goal.

Definitely something I want to do to get out of the construction industry.
Honestly I wouldn’t be upset at all taking home that much.
I feel the freedom in driving and being semi working for yourself is less stressful then what I’m doing now.
My body is feeling it now im construction. Over 10 years already.

I have a dumb question maybe, if your actual rate per mile is $2 and gas at 6 mpg and gas is $4/gallon or 66 cents per mile, doesn't that take a huge chunk of your profit (not to even mention insurance, tolls, etc)?

Thx for sharing. I thought about hotshot trucking for myself. I drive a truck for Old Dominion freight. Just realized I make more money for less time without all the overhead. Glad I watched this video.

What does that come out to per hour of work. I know drivers get paid per mile, but in terms of labor (per hour of work), what does it come out to? For the two weeks, is that an average of $20 per hour?

Hauling for money, makes it commercial correct? And more than likely the weight rating on your drivers license is less than what you’re normally hauling, and even if your empty if your truck and trailer are licensed to haul more than your drivers license is rated for you can get nabbed, just be careful out there, some of these states are really cracking down on smaller “hotshot” trucks

I'd like to hear your recommendation since I'm not truly making a living doing this it's only like a hobby that I need to keep the expense down. To make an even out and pay or costs but I don't want to compete with guys making a living just not fair.

You done it right but for me it would onlyake sense to do non CDL. Most what I do now is ag exempt. And if I take any loads they are local or short haul. I just don't make a living doing this anymore but I still love driving and traveling and I just think I should pay for more fuel tires maintanance and expenses. But I will not compete with any drivers CDL non CDL. As they must make there money for a living I'm not in this to make a living I just enjoy driving my truck and trailer. Thanks for you content. 😃👍

$500 to $700 for both nights in a hotel. $50 to $100 in tolls. Plus possibly other expenses not included. Less them, drops your weekly avarage income. Down from $1,440 to between $1,150 and $1,000. May be lower and or at times. I would deffinitely rather be the broker!!
