ОтветитьCool lineup
ОтветитьCool radios. I actually posted a video last week about a Magnavox flip-clock radio I was repairing. I got it because it reminded me of a GE flip-clock radio I had as a kid.
ОтветитьThe flip clock wasn't turning when I recorded this video, but worked a few days ago. I suspect the motor needs some coaxing/oiling.
ОтветитьI have had a lot of GE clock radios. One I have which I still use is a GE from 1976 got it at flea market for very cheap. I also have a zenith red LED digital clock from 76 and it still works and has a reachable battery built in and still works it kept the time for over 12 hours. I was pretty impressed for battery from 76 works that well.
ОтветитьMad cool units. I know everyone loves themselves some slide clocks, but the digital displays are what I grew up with. Love the wood grain too. Nowadays I have some nice internet radios for my bedside tables, but I have such fondness for clock radios of any sort.
ОтветитьI found one of these at my great-grandma's house, it's rented by my cousin now. She passed in 2017.
ОтветитьThe clock that was shown all the way to the left is from the movie Little Monsters.
ОтветитьCool story, bro...🤘🏼 Pretty neat clocks...👌🏼 I'm looking to get into collecting vintage clock radios, but probably one's that are much older than these...💯✔ That's how I found this video, because I put in "Vintage Clock Radios" and this was one of the videos that popped up for me to watch....👍🏼
ОтветитьThere basically a copy the the RadioShack brand realistic
ОтветитьSir, i have collection of flip clock radios like Hitachi, Murphy Richards, Sanyo, National and Fedulity.
ОтветитьI have been picking these up at the Goowill's and etc I just got the VFD one the other day. Have several older flip models
ОтветитьMy parents had the one on the left (Model 7-4725) and I remember using that to record hours and hours of “mix tapes” by putting my little Panasonic cassette recorder near the rear speaker. Learning to press the record and play buttons at just the right times and getting frustrated when the DJ would talk over the beginning of the song-haha. Ah, the memories. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьYou have a framed photo of queen elizabeth???
ОтветитьI had that white analog clock one. My folks got it for me when I was little to teach me time. I didn't like that it didn't have FM.
ОтветитьI still use the one with the blue display to get up for work everyday.
ОтветитьI also remember that 60hz humm on the brown one not that other
ОтветитьI just bought the one with the blue display. Whether I set the alarm to come on with the music or the alarm tone, it just comes on with the music & I don't know why. Is that something you've encountered before? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhen my dad was younger, I don't think they had them. Lol.
ОтветитьFootball....Can't Wait.
ОтветитьJust bought model 7-4651 for $3 best dollar I spent in life 😊
ОтветитьI go the second one to the left and the first time it went off it scared me so bad, i had the volume all the way up 😭
ОтветитьStill have one I use occasionally in bedroom- GE audio products had amazingly rich sound quality, and the top-mount alarm radio speakers can fill an average size bedroom with rich clear & crisp sound- particularly accoustic/classical music. GE's quality lasts for decades.
ОтветитьBack when quality products were proudly made in the USA.
ОтветитьThe third radio with blue green numbers..my mom has it but with red

ОтветитьAfter setting up the alarm, I don't seem to be able to get back to the current time. The clock just shows the alarm set time.
Ответить@probnotstech I think the flip clock is a GE C4210A from what I saw on internet.
