I'm a Emirates pilot and you sound like a real life ATC omg.

I presume VATSIM Control is hard because it seems like a lot of those aircraft were not following their Standard Terminal Arrival (STAR) Procedures, which lines up the planes naturally to a runway. IRL I think London international takes in 500 aircraft per hour? (At least that is KLAX's 4-runway rate) so that is 4 aircraft coming in and 4 aircraft going out of the airport at the same time per minute.

I'm 2 minutes into the video and I must say, your sound settings concerning mic quality are kind of stressful for me, as a german.

looks realistic enough. thou i noticed, people are being placed on vectors and altitude changes, when they aren't really necessarily needed, almost doing it just to do it, in which i don't think they do that in real life.

Is it just me? I don't understand what they are responding.. the Voice always crackles on the radio

nice work. Why do you sometimes clear flights to "when established LOC, descend with glide", and others you clear for ILS? Is there a difference in these clearances? I've heared both in the London area, but can't figure out why anyone would use the way longer call of "when established".

Made out with an ATC controller at a club and she was telling we about her job which peaked my interest and eventually landed me on this video. Not sure if I would ever choose to do this as a career but it’s quite interesting non the less.

I can't fly off vatsim on MSFS any more, tbh. It makes it so fun and immersive. Yes London airspace is a challenge haha, but it's very rewarding.

Holy cow, god mode controlling. I used to control on VATSIM, Toronto FIR-CYYZ C1 rating, but I hated center control, I would much rather do approach/depature. Over the pond CYYZ arrival was always fun.
