Very good video with lovely clothes. I wear mostly black. I find it slimming and elegant. I wear close fitting tops with loose pants and it works for me.

When I visited Paris I noticed the difference and felt like a scruffy Brit. The men were so elegant. Women looked classy. I was very impressed. Even a homeless guy was dressed in a lovely long wool coat and was drinking champagne out a paper bag !

Whilst I wear mainly black I have recently felt that it does shut down yuh our aura . Its very insular I know it is chic and fantastic , but I'm trying lately to wear more colour as I simply lived in black for so long . An d I'm finding it quite uplifting to wear peach or pink with black also royal blue always looks good . I am a person who wears a lot of black. I am glad to know that it's okay if I wear all black. I can't stop buying black clothes. I try to wear color, but really feel my best in black. I think it looks good with my silver gray hair. Will wear white tennis shoes, or bright/vivid colors in accessories, scarves. My cats are gray, my dog was black.😻

Classic over fast fashion! How about a video on how to keep your clothes looking newer, longer? My secret is cold wash, gentle cycle, and air dry on a drying rack. The drier ruins my knits and shrinks my linens. I appreciate you so much!

Hi Frédérique, I love your videos and agree with almost everything. However, although although I love it, sadly can’t wear black with my coloring. It drains me and so use navy blue. Do you have a solution?

We Americans love color, it iuplift the mood, a mood booster for sure.

I hate ironing, so I bought a small steamer to use at home, and it's great. Highly recommend a steamer. An all-black outfit is my favorite - it feels comfortable and chic and assertive. A basic black sweater with a beautiful neckline, black pants, and black shoes plus a beautiful scarf to top off the look - my favorite!

Wondering what your thoughts are to the 'fashion rule' women should not wear black as they get older as the colour is too strong for their skin? Personally I think I'll ignore this rule as I can't live without wearing black lol. It's my go to colour!

Black is a bit harsh on me so I go for charcoal grey which can look just as chic and has a little more life in it. Thanks for the great tips. Xx

Quality over quantity is key. I also find it lowers spending overall by investing in good staple pieces because there is no niche to fill when you already have the best fit.
