I am 63 years old and I still don’t get it. Just eat herbal turtle soup. I still do it like a rabbit.

I bought one of his books and paid for a personal signing. I asked for "to the only man I ever loved", he gave me something else and a post it note saying "I can only do that for one man and his name is Mel Brooks".

I had the honor to work for a while with Milton Berle, and one day, he was hosting the opening of the Frederick’s of Hollywood Bra museum (because he’d been in drag on his old show), To be honest, I had never really appreciated Berle on TV or in the films. He seemed old-fashioned and schlocky and just kind of fell flat for me. But iRL? The man was the quickest wit I have ever run across...
Carl Reiner and George Birds were there. These old guys played blue like you wouldn’t believe. At one point Burns was descending from the stage, accompanied by two well-endowed young playboy bunnies and he made a joke about ‘taking care of them before midnight (bedtime) he leered and the crowd applauded.
Berle interrupted, saying,
«Right,George— At your age that’s like shooting pool with a rope ! »,
