You should have talked about recycling glass and cans, as those are alternative packaging to plastic and a large part of the recycling picture.

There's are actual trees that leak rubber naturally in mexico near ancient Aztecs & other ancient temples the Aztecs added a vine juice that makes rubber not deteriorate so easily. They used the rubber to bale a ball they used in sporting events. Scientist found some of these rubber balls during a expedition discovery dig. I think the government should grow more of these trees which will help sucking carbon & use the rubber & vine to make things out of it

To stop plastic, quit making it. Glass and paper are better.

Plastic like cardboard needs to be clean so that's not going to happen so virgin materials will always be used.

I wonder if plastic is a must byproduct of the oil industry? Before the diesel engine came about diesel fuel was just dumped by the oil industry, if they wanted gasoline then they had to deal with diesel. Is it the same with plastic or could they just make more fuel instead of more plastic?

I think if we switched to nuclear power, we would only have to deal with nuclear waste as opposed to all the environmentally damaging substances that fossil fuel contains. But that would mean ever country having nuclear capability, but I think we can deal with that by having an international power grid, which allows electricity to be exported just like we have gas and oil pipeline.

I think it’s time to go back to metal and glass.

Just stop producing so much plastic and start to burn existing in high temperature

Instead of talking about recycling we should be talking about what we should do to the liars who got rich of the redemption value we paid on every bottle and can.
