What a gem! I just found this video, it's absolutely amazing, thanks for the walkthrough, now I want to play this game too)))
ОтветитьGreat game to of played and just as great to of seen it be played so well by another player
Ответитьgames like this won't be made again,, nowadays its all boring open world and pay to win
ОтветитьAll I can think about in that opening section is why the hell is Paladin Danse here? 😆
ОтветитьOh god. I can see why this game flopped.... Like the gmeplay itself is fine, it reminds me of Mass Effect 1 for the most part, but the fact they made this an XCOM game?? shit, i wouldve just preferred and actual XCOM game, just set in the 60's with 60's tech, instead of the usual high tech stuff we usually get.
ОтветитьThis game looks like it's got a cold war espionage vibe to it but instead of Soviets infiltrating key parts of our military infrastructure you got aliens in disguise running around destroying us from within making the concept of trust important.
ОтветитьI wonder if this game would run on the Nintendo Switch 🤔
ОтветитьThey look like the aliens from destroy all humans, I always avoided this game as I thought it would be turn based like thr others but ima go buy this tommrow
ОтветитьI buy this game randomly 2 weeks before...i am impressed
ОтветитьJust knew about this game from Wikipedia, lmao.
ОтветитьRandomly remembered this game existed
ОтветитьI love how this game is essentially the prequel to the whole series.
Sometimes I'd wish for an alternate reality just like this one so the government would still have the draft and people would be lining up left and right to kick some alien ass.
How much did this game cost y’all it was 3$ for me
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI remember hearing about this at release and, having never played an XCOM game, being genuinely interested in it. The gameplay and art direction actually grabbed my attention.
Finally bought it on Steam, package and all, and having STILL not gotten around to playing an XCOM game, I played The Bureau...
.
.
...I genuinely like it. It's a fun, fast paced tactical sci-fi cover shooter that can lead to fantastically entertaining combos with the Battle Mode. And I do love how you really need to understand the tactics and gameplay available to you, and how to utilize them. Running and gunning is a fool's option; understanding the gameplay is what wins. I love that.
And I still like the art direction too. Trust me, I too totally wish they stuck to more suits than sweaters and camos, and stuck around more notable 60s locations. But, the juxtaposition of the alien tech and the fact that the game takes place in 1962 can be seen as showcasing the notion that you and the founding fathers of XCOM are woefully outclassed by superior and malevolent beings. But yet still, The Bureau has a job to do. It's the theme of overcoming adversity in the face of overwhelming odds.
I can absolutely say it's worth the price for 20 and definitely a sale.
this game is very undereated for me
I loved the atmosphere
I loved the base, the fear, the 1960's, the multiple endings
Alan Weir looks like Eugene Lévy
also Myron Faulke has a familiar face
Here my opinion.
The Bureau was ahead of its time.
Seriously, instead of a video game, make it a Netflix Show. 12 episodes of a Govt Agency in the 60's fighting an Alien invasion. Sell that shit to Netflix 2K. You can almost heard the sound of money being printed.
interesting thing is that they are using mafia 2 cars in some missions, mostly the cop car
ОтветитьPeople don’t really know this game got pooped on at launch, I never knew why I’m new to the xcom series and I like the turn based style that it has and I cant count the many times when I thought to myself “this is amazing I wish I could see what they see on the ground as opposed to birds eye” and this seems like a natural progression to that thought it seems that they had, bugs and technical issues aside as far as the camera work and movement I’ve been able to work through by playing clunky games my whole life, this feels like a solid entry to me, not the best and could 1000% had some creative and technical changes. But I would still pick up and play it here and there and enjoy it all the same.
Ответитьhi how long you upload this video ?
Ответитьyou good, you did that last part without the rocket, or gatling turrets
ОтветитьI've been trying to get my guys on this game, very slept on!!!! Very dope game, love the video
ОтветитьIt has a glaring plotline failing near the end in that it expects you to believe a 60yr old researcher or ~65yr old manager could slip into a combat role and perform all the same maneuvers with the same litheness and accuracy as the former CIA man who was probably 40yrs old. It's silly on its face.
ОтветитьGood game and a nice job with the video, only issue is looks like needed longer playing time before making the video, to much bouncing of where you're going, but that's just me. Over all Good job enjoyed the show.
ОтветитьGood Video
Ответитьi have this game and have played it through a couple of times, it demonises playability after second or third-time playthrough though, thats why i dont buy too many of these kinds of games, not too bad a game i give it about 3.5 playablity, its a good challenge and not too hard to figure out, graphics are about a 4. 85, almost movie quality but about two steps down from that, story line is about 4.9 are there any other add ons to this game ????
ОтветитьYou did a great job with the walkthrough. This game flew under my radar, but I enjoyed watching the game play.
ОтветитьI tried to like The other X-com but it was a pain this seems better. More like Mass Effect.
ОтветитьCrybabies say this game have technical problems and a weak story, is a story driven fps based on the XCOM remake... LUL i think it's decent.
ОтветитьI still remember when this was to be a fps but still like it
ОтветитьUmm Mosaic ??? That’s biblical. These folks think they slick‼️
ОтветитьI was just about to play this game! Just for myself, for fun (and not for my channel). Thanks for uploading!
Ответить9 hours, I remember this was short back in 2013... Now I'd give anything for a game that lasts this long
ОтветитьI missed this XCOM entire thing, is this the very first XCOM game ? I thought it was an Xbox game years ago and fully ignored it 😂 durr
ОтветитьJust like a woman to shoot a man at point blank range and not hit even one vital organ.
ОтветитьWhat...?
How the fk I never heard about this game before now???
It looks great....!!
What a beautiful job you did putting this together! I'm nowhere near to finishing this video (i'm savoring it in small bites) but I can already tell a few things - such as I should ignore those who were saying not to bother with this game. The story alone is incredible and I am thrilled with the way it builds and keeps building! The devs went beyond the ordinary to fill this out. Rock on xCom!
ОтветитьThis game gets a lot of criticism for its many faults (many of which it deserves). The worst, in my opinion, is the attempt to combine XCOM's turn-based mechanics and perma-death consequences with active third-person mechanics. Its an interesting idea that, unfortunately, became self-defeating further into the game since losing even one agent often meant you'd be crippled until you reached a far-off checkpoint, making it easier to restart entirely.
With that said, I still think this game is a nice addition to the XCOM franchise. The characters, while not very deep, played their roles well and responded rather believably for a group of secret government agents trying to contain an alien invasion. The Cold War esthetics and retro design of the Outsiders' technology were also nice additions. Wish they'd kept the original Outsiders' designs as the amorphous sentient blob monsters or techno-organic energy beings, but the final product wasn't too bland.
What I loved about this game, though, is the lore behind the true Ethereals. The power and influence just one of these beings possess makes the fallen Ethereals and their collective army in EU/EW look tame in comparison. That, and the way Shamash told Asaru that there were species throughout multiple realities they influenced hinted that this entire reboot of XCOM may be part of a larger multiverse. At least, that's what I hope will be the case because XCOM 2's narrative of our victory in EU / EW never happening because it was just a dream / alien simulation is insultingly lazy.
I Remember this game it is too difficult
ОтветитьI was hoping the hat would pop up randomly through out the game.
Ответитьshit never knew this game existed, amazing concept, the whole cover system and being able to queue moves which is basically xcom but in third person view, wonderful.
ОтветитьA good game that missed the xcom mark. Such a shame they didn’t do more with this game and with subsequent titles to tie things together better
ОтветитьNice video.
ОтветитьIt`s Paladin Danse as the smoking man!;)
ОтветитьA solid lost gem and a brilliant additition to series
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьMy only regret is that this is an XCOM game, and not a freaking Area 51 game. As an XCOM game this is average, but had it been an Area 51 game it would have been brilliant. I had so much fun playing this...
ОтветитьYooooo epic
Ответить
