I lost my 23 teeth when I was 28. That was two nearly three years ago. I have a condition known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome that has successfully spread from my c-spine level 5 all the way down to my toes. Both my pain management provider and the dental provider has advised me to not using dentures as the aggravation to the nerves within my mouth can lead to the spread of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome to my jaw, mouth and face.
I will say this now, I definitely don't miss my teeth and only miss one sort of food, baby spinach with cashews, feta cheese and dried cranberries with a lemon garlic vinaigrette.
