I couldn't agree more about Fourth Wing 😂 I really don't get the hype? It was good - but a bit plod along . Other fantasy books are much better with less hype lol

Your experience with Fourth Wing was mine with Divine Rivals 🥲 every page I was like: Where is the hype????

For things we left behind, I’m the opposite, the romance for me I was not anticipating because I didn’t like sloane and Lucian’s romance or characters in the other 2 novels so I actually really enjoyed this book because it was different than I was expecting. It was a lot more nuanced and their background interested me because they weren’t together in the past, they just really cared about and loved each other in other ways. But also resented each other that’s why they didn’t have a romantic interest in the present. It was just tension but they still cared about each other and wants the other happy. Of course I love seeing all the other characters in this and it tied it up really well in the future where everyone spends holidays at Sloane’s house because that’s what she’s always dreamed of and wanted to make happen to honor her dad. I tend to have different instincts and feelings on books than others.

You should read Throne of Glass if you haven’t already! When you were talking about Fourth Wing it reminds me of that because they both have training in the story, but Throne Of Glass wasn’t slow or boring to me it is so good❤❤

Idk I liked fourth wing so much more than powerless? Just the writing was easier to get through, similar vibes but fourth wing just gave 5 stars the whole way and the romance for powerless didn’t seem as realistic because they were never really enemies

Ughhh now I really wanna read forth wing!!! If you liked the dragon stuff u should soooo read the tog series!!! The dragons come in the third book but I swear that those books have EVERYTHING. Loved the vlog 😭❤️

The Lucy score book is only digitally signed! The barns and noble edition is like that. I only know because I thought it was too then I compared it to the other ones at Barnes and the signature is the exact same. Still cool though! ❤️🌷🌼🌞

I listened to fourth wing on audio and I think it made it more bingeable but I will say I did just try and reread it and it's not like acotar when you reread - it's not necessary lol

The first book in the knock em out series was wonderful and the second one I DNF (so bored) but I do love Sloane and Lucien so maybe I'll read
