Good grief, the solution is simply flock guardian dog breeds. There are many breeds, virtually all of which originate in Europe. They are the most effective wolf deterrents. Having people guard overnight, when two or three dogs would be much more alert, (they can smell and hear a predator from quite a distance). Just their barking is sufficient in most cases to warn wolves off and they’re on duty and alert 24/7.

Yes. It takes government money to keep sheepcarers on the job. At the same time, wolves are natural to this habitat. We can't get young people interested in this life.
Who or What has the highest right to live there?

The stupidity of reintroducing sheep eating predators into the landscape really befuddles me. I cannot see any justification for this. There are millions of acres of wild lands where there are no domestic livestock where wolves can live.

Is this 21st century or 16th century .. in the age of AI people doing this ?
