I am/was with google domain. I only just found out that they are dead watching Marques Brownlee review of a phone.
I use to be with register. owned by web. and they are the worse, I mean, so bad its not even funny.

Well, you are right on the spot about Cloudflare. I just bought my 3rd domain with them and because the last one was about a year ago I forgot how to set everything up. Yes, it's a pain. Needless pain. I hoped somebody would have a quick video on the setup but no luck yet.

I'm looking to buy my first domain, and this was super helpful, thanks man! I wish you included GoDaddy too, I'm between them and Namecheap, still can't decide on the company and the extra services I should acquire. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also moving away from Google. Looking into to use AWS as registrar. Wanted to move to Cloudflare but they didn’t do .NL domains. Any thoughts?
