Wish I Knew THIS Before Choosing My House in Hogwarts Legacy

One additional thing to consider for follow on playthroughs is that witches get to see the entire common rooms while wizards do not. The Gryffindor common room is fairly movie accurate, but for the wizards is incredibly small compared to the other common rooms until you realize you can't go to the witches section, and there are lootable chests in that area. So just something to consider for a second playthrough.

I like how the common rooms u were essentially saying

Water: Slytherin
Earth: Hufflepuff
Fire: Gryffindor
Air: Ravenclaw

Going to Azkaban isn't all that great, Slytherin house for life. All you're going to find there is some trash blue and green items maybe a purple or legendary. Yeah it's nice to walk around in it but it's boring over all, and Hufflepuff is pretty lame anyways which is why they got Azkaban.

Interesting, my first playthrough (still playing) I done my questions of what house I belong too on the main website before I started creating my character. So, it picked "Hufflepuff" house for me and I embraced it, since I never wonder why it is treated harshly for what it represents.
Over all, as I started the game, I was asked questions again in the game and the hat picked "Hufflepuff" for me, although I was given an option to pick other houses and I refuse to pick none other than Hufflepuff because I answered my questions honestly.

P.S I named my character after myself, except in English translated.

I chose Hufflepuff and a few of my co-workers chose Slytherin.

What if they would have chosen the houses for us through questions of how we are as a person? Etc

I just bought the game a few days ago and I chose Ravenclaw because I named my character and modeled her after Luna Lovegood. I am also a Ravenclaw personally so this just made sense. That said I have to admit if I do a second playthrough I may make a Hufflepuff (shudder), just to see Azkaban.

It’s just one quest that’s different! When I made a character in Hufflepuff I was so disappointed because there’s nothing in Azkaban. Really small, nothing to find there, kinda boring.

Am I the only one that isn't happy about there being differences between houses when it comes to quests? I mean I get why there would be differences, I just don't wanna go through the game four times 😔

I only just watched this vid and yesterday i completed 1 game of it i completed it as a hufflepuff finally it makes more sense my friend was gryffindor and went to the death day party and i diddnt know why he went there and didnt also go to Azkaban like me ty for this vid it explains alot for me he was sad that he couldnt come seeing as i did the game before him and said he would eventually go to Azkaban not knowing abut this😂

I assumed that they would be different, so I plan on having a character in each house. You can even have more than one at a time.

Currently a Hufflepuff, and this quest was interesting. Azkaban was spooky but incredible at the same time!

I mean, you get to create four characters.

You know that you can make 4 different save files so you can choose all 4 houses AND that's how you get all achievements!

I did Hufflepuff and I would love to have more content regarding that specific story and maybe have Jackdaw feel either guilt or entitled or whatever else could come up. It would probably make that quest a bit more interesting, storywise.

I played the game 4 times to experience each house differently.

I'm in hufflepuff, didn't know about the differences, and the Azkaban mission isn't as impressive as it sounds, it's spooky and interesting don't get wrong but it's a very short visit.

Okay this makes more sense now. Im playing as a hufflepuff and i found the squid cave on my own but i couldnt figure out what it was for. Now i know that its because i cant enter it, and it was only for the Slytherins 😅

I didn't realize you even got to pick. I just answered two or three questions and was placed. Perhaps if I was more dedicated to the lore and canon it'd be obvious, but my son and I got different houses and tried to answer the questions honesty. I'm terrified of snakes, so I had but one wish... not Slytherin! (only due to my personal phobia).

I don't see, from my experience, that Houses make THAT MUCH of a difference. A few different quests for each house. And I know, I watched a lot of these before I got the game.

Nice that you tied the four story lines together. Other than that, I don't think the house choice helps replayability at all. The dialog unlocks are hardly an incentive to replay. The game makes kind of a big deal about presenting you with moral choices (like Witcher 3) but there is no consequences for the choices. The players destined to die will die. You will be heralded as the hero at the end no matter how many unforgivable things you do. For instance, if you make enough "evil" choice you could get a "Thanks for killing the bad guy and making us safe, but you aren't graduating!" or if you were bad enough getting locked up in Askaban.

Considering I found a cryptic note during the headless hunt and lead to the way to a picnic are he set up for Apollonia in the Forbidden Forest just off the path we take with him.
