I saw this just tonight on the big screen in 4K. I cried. I'm a burly biker looking guy. This came out in 1989 here in America. I had intended to see it and have seen Do The Right Thing and My Left Foot, but Cinema Paradiso is the most lovely.

The year the Berlin Wall fell was a time of foolish optimism perhaps. But the feeling of a new world opening up was indescribable. I graduated high school in 1989.

I fell in love with the film score by Ennio Morriconne, only today I learned that it’s the score for this film. Looking forward to watching it soon.

My fav movie ever. Every time i watch it i can t skip crying, especially the last scene.... Gosh is WONDERFUL.!!! It is story of life, love, hope, dreams... regrets, disappointments..... the story of all of us.. and the music .....the music!!!! It can t touch your heart... GRAZIE ENNIO GRAZIE!!!! (it s one of those things that makes me proud to be Italian)

If you truly love cinema, you don’t “remaster” movies like this. You just love every original version of movies because even the bad video or audio quality is a part of the movie. Don’t change the aura of a movie by remastering it

Damn just watched this movie again and it reminds me of when me and my homie fought over a girl in highschool. Fast forward 6 years later my homie and I are dating. Life is so crazy.

The BEST, most touching Italian film I have ever watched. The musical score is amazingly beautifull. This film was made by two Italian Geniuses...Giuseppe Tornatore and Ennio Morricone. By their beautiful, humane works of art they have become IMMORTAL !

2021 anyone. Saw a post on Instagram about the most chilling themes and this was one of them. Cried many times watching it. One of if not the best film I have ever seen
