Another awesome Fresco video - thanks, Chris. By the way, you mentioned the ‘Learn’ content on the home screen. It actually contains excellent walk-throughs and videos to teach users how to use Fresco. So, yet another cool feature that distinguishes it from the competition.

Hello, in Fresco, can we set individual start times for each moving object? For example, if I have two objects in motion, I would like the second one to start moving after the first one stops.

Hi there, could you tell me which brush package/bundle to buy for the classic anchor? I want to use it in fresco but I’m not sure under which category (photoshop or illustrator) the item is listed. Thanks for your help!:)

Hey Chris! I recently started using AF and love it. Unfortunately I'm having an issue with Vector Trimming. For some reason, the previous vector paths that I've made are no longer trim-able. Now when I try to trim it, it removed all the paths that are touching each other (95% of my artwork). What really trumps me is that vector trimming works just as its supposed to with new paths that I lay down. This issue has really interrupted the workflow I was enjoying with Fresco. Would you happen to know anything that I'm experiencing? Theres nothing I can find searching online.

Honestly, the killer tool is the seamless vector work/tools. It's by FAR the easiest and most intuitive way I've ever worked with vectors, and absolutely love it. Thank you for your channel and your hard work, your art is super rad, and appreciate your Fresco knowledge!

I'm researching which digital art program to use w a good learning curve. Thinking fresco, I already use Adobe for creating PR work. Can I use the Procreate templates in fresco? I'm not a fine artist, but I want to start making IG templates and brushes to make passive income.

>rest of the world
>"system that makes sense"
>unit base of 10 chosen to match the total number of digits on monkeys' forelimbs
>has only two factors other than 1 and itself (i.e., the smallest number of factors an even number greater than 2 can have): 1, 2, 5, 10
>only redeeming factors:
( ) because the base of our numeral system is also 10 (for the same reason), when using a calculator to do arithmetic of measurements of a physical quantity, and the solution ends up being non-integral, you can convert the fractional portion of the decimal-point representitaion of the result to a smaller unit in the same system, which measures the same physical quantity, by moving the decimal point. For example, if a layman calculates a distance on his calculator in metres, but the result, instead of being a nice whole number, is, e.g., '2.1𝐦', he has the option of representing the same distance as '2𝐦 + 10𝐜𝐦', and he's not limited to just two units which measure the same physical quantity—if the solution on his calculator was '2.111𝐦', he could choose to write it in the even more obtuse fashion, '2𝐦 + 11𝐜𝐦 + 1𝐦𝐦'.
( ) in cases where one base unit just measures a higher-dimensional version of the same physical quantity as another base unit, you can represent measurements thereof in terms of either base unit—dissapointingly, though, a quantity of one base unit (non-prefixed) is not generally equal to the same quantity of a power of the lower-dimensional base unit; for example, a metre, 𝐦, is a measure of distance, which is the spatial metric for a 1-dimensional manifold, variously labled depending on the context, as 'distance', 'length', 'breadth', 'width', 'height', 'depth', et al., and, thus, the square metre, 𝐦², a measure of area, and the cubic metre, 𝐦³, volume—hence, by incrementally raising the metre to the next power, we can measure in any spatial dimension, 𝒏, with base unit, 𝐦ⁿ. However, some spatial dimensions also receive there own peculiar base unit, which can be used as an alternative to the corresponding power of the metre to measure its corresponding spatial dimension.¹ For example, in addition to using 𝐦³ to measure volume, we can also use the litre, 𝐋; instead of the base units being equivalent, we have an example of a base unit being equivalent to a prefixed unit as mentioned above, because 𝐦³ = 1000𝐋, or, alternatively, a kilolitre, i.e. 𝐦³ = 𝐤𝐋.

In contrast to units of base-10, which four factors (the minimum for an even number > 2), 12 (the number of inches in a foot) is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12, so a unit based on twelve can be split many different ways and more effectively represented by a fraction. While not quite as versitile, 16 ounces can split a pound by 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16. While it might be argued that practical, day-to-day calculations might be easier on the layman, becaues of the simplicity of conversions and the fact that it corresponds to our numeral system, you very often hear academics, even from the hard sciences, advocating for it, and, while numerical calculations aren't completely useless in the sciences like they would be in mathematics, fractions are far more useful for theory and modelling (I don't think I even represented a number using a decimal place in college math).

Also, people sometimes praise the fact that metric units are often tied to some natural quantity, which makes them useful in the sciences. While this is true in some cases, it usually isn't, and the defining natural quantites are sometimes almost wholly useless—for example, the definition of the metre, although later tied to a distance travelled by light in a vacuum during a calcualted duration as an objective way to determine it, was chosen to be a fraction of the circumfrence of the Earth, which would only be useful in a very rare set of problems. In contrast, the inch, foot, cubit, and yard, were chosen because of the practical usefulness of having a unit of measure around those sizes, and because each could be reasonably approximated using just the body of your average adult male, so rough measurements could still be taken, despite not having an instrument for measuring. Further, I would say that their advantage to the layman in this regard far-outweighs any benifit that comes from converting between units on results derived by a calculator. Ideally, we would have a 12-base numeral system as well, which would make imperial units an almost universal no-brainer, but, even with the encumbrance of 10-base numerals, which I don't expect will change any time soon, I'd venture to say the imperial system, more often than not, is more appealing to the mathematical mind.

────────────────────────────────────────
1. Note, the base units assigned to a specific spatial dimension > 1 can still be used to measure other spatial dimensions. For example, ( ) we can use seconds to measure area (i.e., in two spatial dimensions) by raising it to the one-half, 𝐬¹ᐟ² (or, equivalently, taking the square root of the second, √𝐬), or ( ) we can use litres to measure time by raising the litre to four-thirds, 𝐋⁴ᐟ³.
