I still miss 20th Century Fox created and owned Star Wars series years ago (Between 1970s, 80s, 90s, and the 2000s).

Funny thing is that Disney now owned Fox and Lucasfilm respectively.

The original 1977 Lucasfilm limited production logo would’ve made a great official t-shirt for May 4th

Ivipid used the "The Revenge of the Sith" fanfare for their 20th Century Fox template.

Please put the 1977 opening back and rerelease. I bet we get you out of debt Disney!

Honestly the glowing Lucasfilm title works so well coming off from 20th Century Fox than it does for Disney.

First job at 16. Tower theatre Springfield Mo. Star Wars started out platforming in larger markets before going wide . Our chain opened it in Kansas City exclusive at the flagship Glenwood Theatre in Overland Park KS. Nobody knew what is was early on. It broke the house record in a venue that had broken a lot of records over the years . At least we knew what to expect before we got it a few weeks later! Played it until Christmas.
