Easy cases make bad law. This judge had an easy case - the defendant was guilty and he was going to jail. So, like the horrible judge she WAS, she skewed the trial to ensure that which was going to happen anyway happened. She was rebuked by the judiciary council and bar and then resigned in disgrace.
