ОтветитьGetting back in a gym routine 1 year postpartum from having a C-section! Struggled a lot with self image now that my body is so different! Pushing myself in the gym the past month I found my self EXTREMELY tight and struggling to walk down to my basement or to bend over and pick up my son! I knew I needed to try some beginner yoga in order to gain some mobility!
So I began searching for tight back and leg muscles, the first that came up I found myself getting very frustrated because every movement was painful. I wasn't really connecting with the gal instructing(nothing against her just didnt feel the vibe) So I shut that video off. I came across "yoga for the hips and lower back" yoga with Adriene! Something told me to click on this one! That I would enjoy these stretches a whole lot more. As soon as I began the video I knew I found exactly where I needed to be! You were so welcoming and witty! And even tho I was in extreme discomfort to begin, you gave versions of every pose that works for EVERYONE! by the end of the video I was stretched out enough to do the most intense versions! I thank you so very much! I will be practicing with this video for the next however long I need to because I feel amazing even after the first time! 5 years later and you are still touching lives ❤❤

ОтветитьWas doing great till I got to the froggy pose. Butt is a bit big and kept sending me rolling back several times lol. My center of gravity needs some work it seems.
ОтветитьTo all Israeli and Jewish people out there: Adriene promoted the free Palestine slogans and marches on her IG stories, without saying any word about the brutal violence against women, children, the elderly, and simply... humans and animals on October 7. By promoting what she has, she has used a peaceful platform to promote hate and violence against you and I, and disregarded the loss of life. She didn't reply to anyone, even paying customers of fwfg. So much peace and love🙄! It's very easy to ignore these vanishing stories, but they were there, see comments on her IG on previous posts. In this dark hour of humanity, choose if you want to continue following such a figure who woven such propaganda into her "peaceful" yoga, or find a safe space elsewhere. There are plenty of good yoga teachers out there.

ОтветитьOhhh my goodness, I just did this after a run and *let me tell you*, every single pose and movement felt amazing in a new way!! Such a beautiful feeling for stretching out all the parts of your legs as well as lower back and hips, I think I'm gonna do this as my post-run stretch every time now! (Thank you Adriene feels awesome :-) )

I feel refreshed, my body feels better, and it put a huge smile on my face and made me feel so much better about myself. Grateful I decided to take the step to try yoga again, to take care of my body, and for this video and your presence!

ОтветитьThis is my favorite Adriene. I love when she's silly and singing and waxing poetic or intellectualizing anything. When I first started with her years ago I thought it was strange but amusing and now laughing on the yoga mat has become my favorite thing to do. Also holy crap my back is so happy with me for choosing this practice today. I think we made up after our little tiff.

ОтветитьWow, you talk A LOT! Youre exercises are grear, but holy crap shut up! Embrace the silence, so we can enjoy the meditation component of yoga. You talk way too much for yoga.
