100% agreeing with her method. I studied japanese at university, and my way of learning a lot of new words and things about the culture was by watching japanese comedy. Japanese tv shows almost always have subtitles, so I always paused and translated the subtitles. I did this for hours, cause the shows were fun and it was interesting to get to know things about the people and places in it. But ultimately, the japanese study prepared me to be able to learn like any other language thereafter quite easily, cause I was used to work on it very hard. Studying portugese, spanish or dutch was no problem at all and even Chinese didn't feel that hard after having experienced the hardships of learning japanese :)

I disagree with the speaker. Inherent ability is very important. Some people have it, and some don't.

love the video by Lýdia Machová, it is really poligrot, and she explain her method for can speak with more flucency, one of them is every person enjoy the process, because many person in the school or collage has learned a language but sometimes the method is boring and take many years, and every person learn the diferent way, so she advice to enojey the process, however, she explaind only joy the process itself is not enough to you can learn othe languages, you need do three things

i really liked video. she says she tried read harry potter in spanish but she could read parts. i feel identified since i read books in inglish because this books don't has a translation at the spanish. this is my enjoyment in the process to learn inglish

I really liked Lýdia Machová's video. I think it opens up a world of possibilities for us to learn English and other languages ​​through tools that are within our reach. I have taught a few people how to speak English or Spanish in 5 hours, 1 hour every day.... learning is very easy ... one only needs a few rules that children practice without even knowing, and these are a few: 1) practice or repetitions makes a master, some will take 3 times and it is done while others will take 10 or more times, so learn from yourself how many times, 2) speak so that others laugh at you because you are funny, 3) speak to smile at the listeners because they look funny, 4) never use written notes because mental notes will always be with you, 5) never say I don't remember, and rather say I will remember soon because our brains obey faithfully unless one is damaged, and if you dont remember rhe word that you need then say "NEXT" and smile wirh others,6) memorize most basic questions, 7) know that people love helping, some do it happily while others not so happy but all love helping sooner or later 8) just describe what you see or think as each thing has color, form, texture, and many more associating words, just describe because speaking is like a chain wirh links and one word pulls out the next word, just say the first words or sounds LOL 9) we remember all by association so always associate things and names and words with other things 10) many words sound almost the same in most languages like papa, mama, city, university, technical, or one knows the sound it makes as chickens sound like chicken in every language and pigs too LOL and never forget to do it for fun if you can. These comprised my first class and some practice.... second class was to remember quickly the first class while talking with other that are no strangers on the second class .... third class my students almost left me out but I was always quick to name a few words for them that they might be looking for to remember... they always wanted to have the 6th class but I always say you already speak the language just go on and talk with everyone that you meet in person or virtually ; )

I’m completely agree with Lýdia, it’s really crucial to find enjoyment in the process of learning languages, and this should be the feeling that we need to have while we are learning a new language, but also, we should use learning methods to get long-term memory, create an own learning system that fits to our routine, and the most important, we need to be patience and perseverance , the important is keep learning and practicing, break the obstacles and believe in yourself.
