Tarbiat Street, or as the Tabrizians call it, Tabriz Khayavani, is located in the heart of the city of Olinha, near Saat Square and the landmark building of the municipality. The sign "Pedestrian Education" shows that this is a street for pedestrians.
The Qajar period was a time when cities were moving away from their traditional atmosphere, streets and squares were being designed and everything was changing. The length of this street is 1 km and it used to be on the way of the silk road and it got its name from the name of the mayor of Tabriz at that time.

This street is divided into two parts, west and east, and is close to Imam Khomeini, Ferdowsi streets and the old market. The south of Tarbiat reaches Imam Khomeini Street, which is not far from the municipal building, and the north leads to Jumhori Street, the same street that It reaches one of the market entrances.
Shopping on Tarbiat St
Tarbiat pedestrian street does not have such an old feeling that we remember the bazaar, nor does it have luxury multi-storey shopping centers that have increased these years. This street has a lot of shops selling clothes, bags and shoes, shops that have been here for many years. Shopkeepers always see people walking on this promenade, standing behind the windows, looking at their goods, entering the shop and continuing to look at the windows with their hands full.

These shops sell bags and shoes, cloth, coats and other small items. Even if you don't buy, walking and watching will make you feel good. Cars have not entered this street for many years so that people can walk and shop safely.

In addition to the shops that have been on this street for many years, several arcades and shopping centers have been built, such as Pardis Commercial Complex, Emerald Arcade, Azadi Bazaar and Tarbiat Arcade. Sheikh Safi Passage and Shihgar Bazaar are old and have historical value, behind the Shihgar Bazaar you can find souvenirs and sweets of Tabriz at a reasonable price.

Tabriz is the kebab city of Iran and there are famous kebab shops all over the city. Tarbiat Street is not without these grills. Haj Majid's Chelo Murgh and Mohammadi's Tawakbabi are located on this street, which are among the best restaurants in Tabriz.
From Tarbiat Street you can enter Imam Khomeini Street, Imam Khomeini Street reaches Saat Square and the Municipality Building. The municipal building is one of the most beautiful buildings and sights in Tabriz.

The Maqsoodiye pedestrian walkway is located next to the municipal building. When you enter the first alley on the left, you will reach Heydarzadeh's spectacular house.

It is about 2 kilometers from Saat Square to Tabriz Bazaar. You reach the market from Tarbiat Gadmazzanan street. If you are a tourist, your day trip will end here. Because the bazaar has so many rows and shops that you will feel warm.

The Blue Mosque, which has been standing for years on Imam Khomeini Street, can be reached by walking for a few minutes. After visiting this historical and architectural work, you can see the Azerbaijan Museum, which is a few steps away from the mosque.
