How Play PS2 Games In 4K On PC - PCSX2 Set Up Guide

If I use open gl hardware ps1 games are glitchy, but x11 just freezes the screen so I'm stuck using openGL software which only runs at native 😢

i have one question why everytime i change Internal Resolution i keep getting those lines in my screen, how do i fix it

I know this is 3 years old but I was trying to use the nightly build with Bully and the environment is so blurry. like everything is being rendered twice overlapping each other. but when I load it up on the stable version it works perfectly fine. unfortunately I can't use compressed files on the stable version.

Where did you get BIOS file from?

something that he didn't mention in the video that he really should have is you can't just download a PS2 bios file from the Internet and use it in the emulator you have to dump it from a real PS2 which at that point Why don't you just play PS2 games on that PS2

Lol. So apparently my gaming laptop isnt good enough to run PCSX2 for playstation 2 emulation, but it can run Xenia for XBox 360 emulation just fine.

Awesome... just setup a PS2 PHAT system for my nephew because he wanted to play all his old favs again, so had the ISO's to play with. Never had a PS2 so finding some great stuff. Set mine to 2k since looks just as good to me, runs smooth on my 4th gen i7, 16GB ram and a GTX1060 6GB card.

EDIT - Weird... was working perfectly fine. Hadn't touched it in a month and now kinda acting weird. Was trying to play Ghost Rider, and now there's a circle of heads around him, kinda ghosting and copying the fire effect. Tried Tekken, and had black vertical lines every 2 inches. Rechecked settings... maybe an nvidia update messed it up?

I don't understand what's the point of making a video if you aren't going to tell us where to get what we need?!

This emulator sucks and is a pain in the ass especially with installing mods. Project64 is an example of a much better emulator.

When I try this my games are completely unplayable. The audio and visual go slow motion, to normal, back to slow and sounding distorted.

What he didn't tell you is you cant download a PS2 bios off the internet. Won't work as PCSX2 won't recognize the file unless it came from your own PS2...

Recently every game I change appears the message that the saved settings will be lost and the settings I have on the controller are not saved... That's very annoying... I assume it's some missing ddl file..
