If Nissan would throw on twin turbos on Frontier....it give ranger raptors and '24 taco serious competition!
Nissan build one of the best turbo engines in the world!
Toyota kicked nissans you know what
ОтветитьIf some think the Frontier looks 10 years old, wait until they see the 2024 Landcruiser. Its just as boxy.
ОтветитьTacoma takes the cake. So many times all the guy could say that was good about Nissan was the dang seats. For city-goers, it is good and maybe better than the Tacoma for that area, but as a truck that will be used as a truck, Tacomas last and are way more worth it. Wow, it doesn't have 9-speed, but I won't have to buy a new transmission in like 5 years. Toyota has been sticking to the same body style for a while because it works so great. If you want something for commuting and comfortability, buy a car.
ОтветитьThe Nissan has better power numbers then the same displacement 3.5 V6 in the Toyota. Toyota desperately needs to upgrade the powertrain with more respectable power numbers especially considering the competition, even the smaller displacement 2.0 4 cylinder in the Ford Maverick has more power 250/277. For my money I'd take the Nissan over the taco because at least Nissan upgraded the powertrain and Toyota is still hesitant. Surprised they haven't just put a turbo charger on this motor or their 4 cylinder. They make some great motors and it's surprising that with the taco's heritage and cult following Toyota would put the best truck appropriate V6 they have. Some may argue they did, I'm not convinced thus far. Maybe soon now that Toyota is using turbo's in the Tundra it will make its way into the taco.
ОтветитьWhere was this filmed? The scenery is gorgeous!❤ Edit: Nevermind lol
ОтветитьThat was the lamest 4 wheeling I've ever seen. I've done worse stuff in a 2 wheel drive car.
ОтветитьThe price is high but the resale is faster
ОтветитьI’m sorry, the Tacoma does not even compare or come close to the Nissan frontier. The Nissan has a far superior ride far superior frame structure, feels like a truck has an engine and transmission combo that work well together is more powerful and the interior is much nicer. Perhaps the most important thing is comfort and value. Nissan all around not even close. Sorry, Toyota.
ОтветитьIm gonna buy the frontier for my job. Its my favorite truck for the price
ОтветитьToyota TRD PRO
ОтветитьThat Tacoma Hill Decent is ridiculously loud
ОтветитьWhy didn't you air down the tires ?
ОтветитьThe thing that bugs me to no end is that the Nissan has no ground clearance for a 4X4 it looks like a 2WD truck! If I bought one it would definitely need a lift kit.
ОтветитьToyota performs better, but I'm just not comfortable in it.
ОтветитьToyota Tacoma is very uncountable, it is perfect for short people.
ОтветитьCan’t go off-roading with out a can of Pringles 😂
ОтветитьThe Toyota doesn't look as nearly as good as the Nissan. I think the guy has it wrong. The Toyota is mundane.
Nissan is obviously still sharing a lot of parts. That display is the same as a 2015 Nissan Maxima. Nissan can do better.
if you disable the Traction control in 4Hi it will enable Nissans ABLS as it would in 4Lo.
ОтветитьFrontier beats the Tacoma in every important head to head. You name it. Yes including reliability, those C-channel frames in the Tacoma rust and rot, unlike the Frontiers fully boxed frame, which is nuke proof.
-Frontier 310HP > Tacoma 278HP
-Frontier Torque 281 lb-ft >Tacoma 265 lb ft
-Frontier Full Boxed Frame >Tacoma C-Channel Frame
-Frontier Disc Brakes > Tacoma Drum Brakes
Frontier has a premium interior, ride, transmission, seating, head room, materials/fit & finish, more safety features, better crash test, spray-in bed liner, the list goes on and on…not to mention styling, especially in the Pro-4X.
Both are Crap cause. Plastic and Electronics no Made for aventure.. You wanna SEE real aventure. Just watch videos of central américa old Toyotas doing normal life in Muddy,Creeks,Rocky roads nothing stupid spent money after market devices or electronic controls just real life risks
ОтветитьNot sure if anyone has mentioned this, but those side steps are designed to be Removable. Once they are removed it becomes a rock rail.
ОтветитьNo Mach for Tacoma.
ОтветитьProblem with Toyotas cars or trucks is that they are so boring ... they will last forever but they're just meh experience.
ОтветитьI bought a Nissan because I fit better in it too. Always thought that new body style toyo was designed for skinny guys not American Sized guys
ОтветитьI am slightly disappointed in the Nissan. It feel like my 2013 Xterra Pro-4X is at least as good off road. The Xterra hill descent control works great.
ОтветитьTRD off road is the competitor to the Pro 4X
ОтветитьFrontier makes woke white feminist girls feel like real boys.
ОтветитьFrontier hands down, This is from a Ford F150 owner. How many Fools would spend 50k to jump ditches and climb rocks?? too much emphasis on all reviews on off-roading
ОтветитьNissan went to hell in a handbag when Renault bought them out and started building in the USA!
ОтветитьIf only for reg use mostly the Frontier would be ok. If it is for off road use mostly the Tocoma
ОтветитьI have a loaded 2024 pro4x red alert , leather , sun roof. It has plenty of technology. I love it , beautiful truck . $48,680
ОтветитьI wish this was TRD "off-road" vs "pro4X" Bilstein suspension shootout 😂
ОтветитьBoth look so DAMN good! 🔥 i wonder about carbon buildup on the Nissan frontier 3.8L other than that either 1 is amazing the 🌮 🛻💨 should have LEDs stock imo that's a slack/overlook by Toyota 🤦
ОтветитьI am a TRD Pro owner. I did not even considered other manufacturers ...partly because Toyota quality, dependability, service and resale. The other, my Pro looks awesome all blacked out, Toyo Open Country tires and Desert Air Intake. This Pro will still look great years down the road and put a huge smile on my face. Frontier just cant match.
ОтветитьTacomas have been fugly for a long time.
ОтветитьOf course toyota is the winner here...I would buy a Toyota Tacoma😂
Ответитьtrd looks feminine not going to lie
ОтветитьThe frontier may be my next truck. I have a 1998 Tacoma 4wd that I bought new back in 98. I use for gnarly trails. Its totally set up with driveline, suspension, armor and the winch in the bumper for the unknown. Those two models your showing are good for exactly what you’re doing but not much more without mods. I have a 2018 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition that can handle anything you’re showing on this video but it has crappy ground clearance so can do really bad ruts.
ОтветитьNo comparison Tacoma Rules!
ОтветитьReally like the frontier, just not sure how that 3.8l DI engine will hold up long term. It is much more of an appealing truck to. The trd is factory lifted ajd the frontier p4x is not lifted compared to stock.
Personally, i want a pro4x but i think a crew cab sv witu 6ft bed option is better. You can add a level kit, larger tires, new struts, very easily and be in better shape imo. I really hate 4.5-5ft beds
T R D
ОтветитьThe Nissan has 385 pounds of Torque.
Ответить“Today we have two of the ugliest colors of these trucks” hahahaha
ОтветитьWhy would you compare the Pro4x to the PRO? Should've done a TRD Off Road, that's a more fair comparison.
Ответитьyou can very easily fix that clearence issue on the frontier by just removing those ridiculous side steps or better yet dont buy your frontier with those horrible low hanging side steps!!!
ОтветитьFrontier pro4x nismo!!!
Ответить
