Ages very, very well considering it's 70-year-ago Hollywood. Many of the previously-hilarious comedies fall flat; dramas are unbelievable; crimes and police films fall flat. This picture, and especially "Son of Paleface" are immortal.

But what about the taco show?

Apparently accordions were super attractive before Rock and Roll got popular, so this guy is basically like any fuckboy playing Wonderwall in the park to attract girls LOL

Up until I Googled it, I thought Paleface was a movie the writers of Frasier made up for the show.

I don't know what song Bob Hope is singing, but it's not 'Buttons And Bows'. Here are the REAL lyrics for those interested:

I like this movie so much I have seen it several times on you tube and TCM. Bob Hope is a pure classic. Son of Paleface was funny but not as much as this one.

A household favorite. 😤 My mother made up her version ,sang it to me as a lullaby it put me to sleep,and has been passed on to my daughter, grandchildren and my other baby's whom I have put to sleep.

Ah...Eddie Izzard said that Scooby Doo invented the Great American Coward, but Bob Hope was there long before. Full marks for sticking with the concertina for accompaniment, and not bringing in an orchestra.

Poor Mr. Hope was never going to get any good sex from that frigid “lady” anyway. Russells’ only talent was the way she filled out a bra.
