I think Venti is not the God of Death but his father is, wait I know you’re saying but he used to be an elemental creature! Wait. The God of Death is one of the 4 shining shades, but Venti isn’t one of them so what if the Plume of Death was seduced by an Disciple of Istaroth… if that happened it would make sense, because if the Plume… nvm I’ll call him Eligos for one of the Goetia demons, what is Eligos was seduced by one of Istaroths disciples because if they fu- you get the point… Istaroth would be mad and if that happened the disciple could’ve given birth to Venti but what is Istaroth was mad she would turn the Disciple into an Elemental creature that would still be humanoid and that would make sense why Venti’s statue fingers are pointing to the tree where a human Ascended into Primordial godhood and that would also sum up why venti has a Blackhole as his burst because it’s Time consuming, get it? but Venti has wings… he has wings because Death is supposed to be calming and it’s supposed to catch you off guard, so he has wings because his father is the death and the death is supposed to catch you off guard.

I believe Venti, free as the wind, has been doing much like the fatui, sneaking the influence of his ideals, freedom and kindness, into every corner of teyvat... Making him in my view one of the 4 players playing a game of chess with all Teyvat as the stage.

The heavenly principles, the absolute force of law.
The adyss, the absolute force of chaos.
The fatui, bearers of the duty of eternal vigil, no matter the costs.
I think in this mess, Venti has been the quiet champion of the people.
Healing Xao, a confedante of Morax.
Blessing Kazuha, who blocked the Raiden Shogun's assault on us, and a good chunk of the rebel freedom fighters.
Blessing the reformed Wanderer that he may help people as he roams.
Even blessing one of the fatui children of Fontaine. Deliberately hiding how powerful he has become, to avoid conflict with the heavenly principles.

I really wish that for the sake of story, we could play many of the lapsed events in this game, even if without any of the special rewards it once had.

(Spoilers for the Sumeru story quest!!) I think Venti knows the truths hidden inside stories. We found out that you can hide what really happened inside of tales. Bards are meant to pass on information in the form of song, an entertaining way to pass knowledge on. I think he's known about the truth of this world the entire time. Things about this world no one else knows or remembers, he remembers.

what if the authority that gives archons power is over their concept? for example, zhongli gains power when contracts are upholded. nahida gains power when she's acting wisely and so on.

however, venti being bounded by vows of secrecy is not exerting freedom. Therefore he might really be the weakest.. until the time comes when he can make a choice to turn the tables and embody that concept. Maybe then, he will really open his metaphorical wings, so to speak

could also explain why the oratrice is so powerful and furina is so conflict avoidant, if the split-archon theory is true. The part of the archon that is presiding over their part of teyvat- justice, is solely kept by the oratrice, while furina herself doesn't have control over what would have made her powerful

If Venti know traveler’s sibling and is quite calm thinking that they are the other sibling that means Venti secretly supports the abyss

If you think about it, The Heavenly Principles way of actions goes along with all Archons way of life, all... Except Venti, cause one thing the Heavenly Principle don't like is Freedom as they oppressed anyone who defies them. And Venti ... Is the God of Freedom. I have a feeling Venti is playing the biggest dumb card as a mean to lay low before the big blow. I mean... Who would ever think a drunk man who sings and wander all day be a threat, right ?

When he was ‘trying’ to break out of the ice his braids didn’t even glow, whenever the other archons use their power in the story their braids glowed, Venti wasn’t even trying at all 💀

I think Venti is on the side of the Primordial One, who is probably at odds with Celestia but not actively so. Venti used to worshipped alongside Istaroth before the people forgot her, and though she is the God of Time, she was also associated with wind (called the thousand winds, and before Venti became an archon he was one wisp within the thousand winds). She's probably the source of his ability to summon up past winds and to know all songs from all time periods. He could be a representation of her, much like Istaroth is a shade of the Primordial One.

Celestia might be the abode established by the Second Who Came. It's 7 Archons mirror the 7 Dragons who the Primordial One defeated, together with his 4 Shades. He did that to establish a world for humans (but it seems that humans probably lived during that time, the dragons just didn't care about them). That would make Venti an Archon who is allied with Celestia in name, but who is its enemy, in fact.

I still don´t forget how he cheated on poor girl Barbara, giving her the lyre broken as if it was repaired knowing she adored that instrument, just imagine her realizing it was a fake repair, that was really disgusting from Venti.

Something that caught my attention was the fact that every region represents an act, however Monstadt is not considered an act and it's said that there will be 7 acts. So, why is Monstadt not considered an act?, also is intriguing what would be the seventh act if we see Liyue being act 1 as said that Monstadt does not count. It's just weird seeing that Monstadt is the region that is speculated Celestia will fall. Maybe we could go back to Monstadt at the end of the game and Celestia would start to descend right in Monstadt, maybe more specifically in Windrise since Venessa ascended there.

Venti's design also says a lot about him too, he has cecilias all over his clothes and his lyre and where do cecilias grow? close to a temple dedicated to Barbatos and The god of time. We all know that he's related to the God of time but what exactly happened to this God?, And why Monstadt doesn't give that much importance to them like they used to?

I believe Venti's helping the Cryo archon with what could be a rebelion against Celestia. He could even be collecting info for her, being that the wind is everywhere, Venti can hear anything.


Looking more into his origins we have just a little information about how he took his current form and what happened in the originof Monstadt, but where did he come from?
In the whole game there's no creature like Venti's real form, did he just popped out of nowhere?, And how old is he for real? We just speculated he's 2600+, but he could be way older than that, there's no info on how old he actually is, maybe just maybe he could know something about Teyvat before Celestia.


But i guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

@ChillwithAster I think venti hides his true power because he has a plan to destroy all of the monsters and at the same time get a payback on Celestia for the calamity that happened 500 years prior to the games current time. I think venti is tired of living because of the archon war and he hates himself because monstadt got attacked during the calamity in which venti was late because he was at khanrya, that made venti vow to destroy Celestia by all means even if it means he will die. And I think he reason he doesn't say anything is because he knows that if the traveler or morax know about his plan they would stop him.

Venti without a doubt, canonly, knows EVERYTHING. hes mentioned once how he knows all of teyvats songs. and we all know venti tells stories through song.. so song = Story. venti knows all of teyvats story.

My theory is that venti may also be the god of time. And when he said "oh, we meet again" it may have been him having gone back in time. So hes confused on why the travel is happening again or something like that.

Venti saying that Archons get their main power from worship, could also have another unexplained part. It could mean why they are worshipped. Venti could be one of the most powerful because his people are very willingly worshipping him and when they do so, they are respectful and grateful. On the other hand, someone like the Tsaritsa might not be getting her power that way. That is because Snezhnayans are, probably, most likely worshipping her unwillingly and out of fear, since it's said that they hold no actual love for her
