(Thomas MacDonagh 1916) a song composed by Seamus Doran, in May 2006 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Easter Rising 1916 and in particular to commemorate, pay tribute, and to acknowledge the laying down of his life, for the sake of Irish Freedom, by Cloughjordan Patriot, and signatory of the Proclamation, Thomas MacDonagh.

Beautifully sung by Tadhg Maher, with backing vocalist, Lorraine McDonald, from the album "Against the Grain", recorded by Peter Maher at Middlewalk Studios, featuring Eileen O'Brien on fiddle, Padraig Kinsella on accordion, Theresa Larkin on whistle, and David Gaitero Kinsella on Uileann pipes.
