Jalapeño slices and lime juice are mandatory! I had tacos tonight in fact and it was super disappointing. should have made them myself. 😓
ОтветитьHey, Bri, I have my own taco recipe, but I made the taco sauce from this video tonight for use with my tacos and my wife asked me if I would "marry her again". Thanks, dude!
ОтветитьToo fast. Too many adverts.
ОтветитьThe brown sugar kind of ruins this for me
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьI remember making Tacos for my friends. They were eaten faster than I could cook them. I couldn't keep up. Thank you for posting this recipe. Put aside at least a couple for yourself.
ОтветитьGive up on learning Spanish because Mexican people speak “Hispanic”. A Spaniard and a Mexican cannot not carry on a conversation because the dialect in totally different.
ОтветитьThis looks so good, but man I really need to reconsider watching food videos featuring people crunching into their food, as it seriously triggers my misophonia.
ОтветитьConsider buying the pre-made corn tortillas and then...deep frying them. A quick one minute bath in 375° oil and lightly salted they should perform well and taste pretty good compared to home made.
ОтветитьTaco meat turned out great although the moisture/oil never fully cooked out while browning meat. The flavor was spot on but next time I will need to drain the grease because the meat is kinda oily. Taco shell forceps work perfectly but would recommend less time on the cooking because they were so crispy they kinda fall apart as soon as you try and eat them. Thanks agin for another fantastic class on cooking!!
Ответить*wiener, not weiner
ОтветитьAnyone else singing “white people taco night” in their head
ОтветитьI tried this and it was the worst ever....
ОтветитьHow can it be 100x better than Taco Bell?
ОтветитьWhite people taco night!
ОтветитьJust found this guy a few weeks ago. I've already made like 20 recipes, and they are all absolute fire.
ОтветитьI didn’t care for this. It was edible, but I would never make it again. It was too sweet and tasted more like sloppy joes.
ОтветитьLotta effort for one taco… I’m good….
ОтветитьAnother home run! This recipe is just fantastic, and I used the pan-fried method for the taco shells. Great job, Chef Bri, you always make it so the home cook can recreate it.
ОтветитьThere was an old taco place in my town run by a Palestenian guy. It was basically Taco Bell, but he fried his own chips and taco shells fresh every day or two. It was SOOOOO amazing. I was sad when he closed up shop. Not a lot of tex-mex fast food options locally, but we have had a lot of more authentic tacquerias open in the last couple decades, so it's not so bad.
Ответитьin all fairness anything is better then taco bell
ОтветитьDo you have a suggestion as to how much Australian chilli powder I would use? 40g of what we down here call chilli powder is way too much, it will destroy this dish. Google tells me that US chili powder is a blend of different spices not just straight chilli powder like we have.
Ответитьwhen you say oregano do you mean mexican oregano or regular oregano?? there is a distinct taste difference sort of like basil and thai basil.
ОтветитьDelish. Better than a seasoning packet that's for sure lol.
ОтветитьThis wasn't good. The beef tastes more like sloppy joe than taco beef. The sauce is very blah. Not a make again.
ОтветитьHi Brian
ОтветитьWho else has never heard of Ortega
ОтветитьOver the top! This is how to cook and eat!
ОтветитьI'm so sad the tongs are not available any more.
ОтветитьMade these tonight. I knew it would be good because all his recipes are, but I was shocked at just how good these were. Used the two tongs method on the tortillas and they were perfect. Thanks, Bri!
ОтветитьI made this tonight (taco meat only)…it was delicious!
ОтветитьFelicidades por tu éxito mi cielo💋La familia va a almorzar hoy allá amor❤️
ОтветитьI was a chef for 30 years. Never ever...never ever ever, never never ever ever, compare your food to "Toxic Hell." You can poop in a taco shell and have a better taco.
Ответитьyup cheese on top of the meat so it melts !
ОтветитьGreat tip: use a potato masher for the beef if you don’t have a tool like he does 😊
Ответить40g of chili p is crazy work 😂
ОтветитьYou said undoubtebly...
Lol
What kind of tomato sauce?
ОтветитьHomemade tacos hands down are better than restaurant
ОтветитьDrinking Ortega had me laughing out loud!!!!
ОтветитьThe beef preparation was great but looks more like sloppy joes to me with the brown sugar and tomato added to it, but the rest is fantastic.
ОтветитьI made the taco sauce today and it’s fantastic. I added a bit more vinegar, but it’s super tasty.
ОтветитьGreat video Brian, thanks. I've always bought La Victoria taco sauce, so I'll have to try Ortega before I make my own. Do you salt the taco shells after they come out of the oil? They look and sound delicious.
ОтветитьOlive oil... stopped watching.
ОтветитьNo garlic or olive oil in tacos. Don't know what you are doing here but 100x better is B.S. White guy. I am one too but this is B.S.
Ответить"America's" great gift? You guys really like calling other countries cultures yours LOL
