The garage paint job looks good. Basement clean. You guys got the new house and you lost a bunch of weight while doing so. Amazing! Try hot pad on your side heidi. Might need for whole body after scrubbing walls. You guys are such hard workers. Can't wait for new house video:) really happy for you😊

I would be cautious about saying where the washer and shower water goes. In some areas, it cannot go into the storm system. I spent two years in Cleveland testing for cross connections like those. I just don't want you to get into any problems.

Got a brand new Jeep for my 40th birthday, 1996- ha dated myself- that had the same exact leek, took the dealer 3 times to pin point it. Everything's looking good in the old place. Looking forward for the new place....😊

Mike, I am going through the exact same thing, and I am younger then you, and it honestly concerns me, because my short term memory is getting worse, as I am getting older. Shoddy electrical in old homes are a PITA. I like that AI camera! 10 amp breaker??? 15 and 20 amp circuits is all I’ve ever seen in a house as far as 120 goes. Why would anyone put a 10 amp in? Ah ha, 20 amp. That makes more sense. But a 30 amp 120? That’s certainly over protecting that circuit.

You know most of those home inspections are private third party inspections and 90% of what’s identified is suggested. Not mandatory.

Hi u two… been watching you since you decided to go full-time RVing. Loved your posts about everything needed for safe RVing. We loved your adventures on your Ebikes and still enjoy your reviews on the bikes that are very informative and helpful…We’ve enjoyed your transition to sticks and bricks and the mass of work and energy it took to transform that huge mess of a house into a lovely enjoyable home. A home that the next buyer will be proud of..Hiedi seems so happy and content as do you. We can't wait to see your new to you home and all you will probably be doing to make it your own…..
We are retired and in our 70’s but still very active in RVing, bike riding, fishing, golf and ofcourse our grandbabies. Mike you crack us up with your rants that depict what we rant about too! lol. Keep doing you! the both of you!

It's kind of funny how small the panel is for being 100 amp. I guess that because you have mostly gas appliances, you and the previous owners were able to get by.

At least the only thing the buyers inspector noted about my parents' old house that I sold last year was some foundation settlement that could possibly be stabilized. Ultimately, the only requested thing that the buyer requested was that the backup generator was a bit overdue for its oil change, so I paid the electrical contractor to do so on closing day.

It's increasingly common for younger buyers to demand you do things for them when buying older homes.

As a realtor in Cali, before I retired, I had to do many things to a seller's house to help get it sold….Cleaning, painting, hauling junk, etc, etc. Don’t feel guilty about the realtors doing what it takes to make a sale, some lazy realtors wouldn't think about exerting a little elbow grease.

Had a Chevy cavalier that would leak a stink. The drain tube was clogged. I stuck a dri king straw up in the tube part way up. And it kept the tube from clogging.

Moving to a new place...wow! I just asked my wife what it would take for us to move again, anytime soon, and she said this house would have to burn to the ground. Moving is such a hassle, and the work we do to improve a place gets us so bought into it. But different strokes, as they say. We're getting more and more at home here, today having installed some bathroom items (e.g. towel bar) and a new electronic deadbolt for the front door, and we did a bunch of yardwork. With 5 acres, there's always something needing to be done on the property. I've been using a reciprocating saw to cut down things like privet along fence lines, and spent a while on my electric zero-turn cutting the grass again. She's been making the kitchen more her own, though it seems like it's still not as good overall as the kitchen in our RV (Riverstone 42FSKG) is. Still, we're hoping to sell the RV soon, as we're no longer spending much time in it. Maybe we'll sell the truck, too. Who really needs a one-ton dually if they're not having to tow a huge trailer? We also still have Florida tags, on both of those and on my motorcycle. I need to retrieve some stuff from Florida so we can get our AL drivers licenses, titles, and registrations. Maybe we can sell truck and trailer before re-titling those.

All the stuff with selling the old house made me laugh. One nit-pick thing after another. When we sold our last house, we had a very low bid from some Peter O'Sheary guy, a Realtor. We rejected it. Then we had a fair offer from regular people, but it had a contingency on selling their current house, and Realtor POS came back with a matching offer without that contingency, just a regular inspection. We should have gone with our gut, and accepted the regular family's offer, ignored Realtor POS, but we were worried about the sale of the family's current home, so we accepted the POS offer. He and his "inspector" kept finding one stupid thing after another. Some were expensive, like claiming that the whole sewer system needed to be replaced. I'm pretty sure they never did replace it, that was just a pretense to get the price reduced. At one point, they made a big deal of the smoke detectors being out of date, and wanted a substantial allowance for that! FFS, all I did for that was pick up some new ones at Homless Despot, install them, and at that point told our Realtor that if POS asked for any more concessions, no matter how small, we were backing out. I said if he wants me to pay for his parking while he's at closing, the deal's off. I still regret ever dealing with POS. He showed us what he was when he made the ridiculously low offer. It sounded like his wife really wanted the place, and I would have loved to let them know he messed up the deal for stupid stuff, and let her "thank" him for that. I don't expect to ever sell a house again, but if I do, I plan to make it "as is". Whatever inspections etc the prospective buyers have done, they can just accept the house at the agreed price, or back out and we keep their earnest money.

Good chance you are forgetting due to your blood sugar. I've lost 55 pounds in the last three weeks simply by eating Caesar salads, it has been amazing and my mind is sharp again.
