Long before there was a Corey Burns Park, there was the man himself, a man who had a vision that today is the home of South Carolina's oldest Little League. Today, Corey Burns' vision abides and his legacy continues in a new generation of ball players and a new generation of his family.

Knowing and working with Corey Burns was special. I learned so much from him. I can remember sitting at home house for hours learning how to do the draft. I have been with the league for 23 years now and it is so special to see this video and remember some great memories. I am blessed to have called Corey a friend and I am proud to be a Northwood member. I miss Corey and this was a great video. Corey in my eyes will always be engrained in my memory holding his iced tea every time I saw him. Thanks for reminding me why I have stayed with little league so long
