The song SILVER SPRINGS at 16.08 was NEVER on Rumours. I can sing these songs backward after 47 years. Every song evokes memories - that I will NEVER forget until my dying day.

I was 18 when this came out and 18 when I bought my first copy on vinyl since then I’ve had it on cassette, CD, and finally digital LLRR

This album defined my high school years. Saved my sanity a few times too ❤

Definitely a G.O.A.T album...don't even try to debate it.

I live all kinds of music, I go through phases and they wildly vary...but Rumours is key to everything, its the centre. Its so beautiful and good and meaningful, I love it so much.

"Silver Springs" was not on the original Rumours album; "Songbird" was after "Go Your Own Way."

FAV ALBUM OF ALL TIMES

I had this album as a kid. I would play it constantly. I'd wait til everyone was out of the house, crank it up. Dreaming of the day I would be out on my own. Great escape from a miserable childhood.

I had the 8 track, so why is there one song on here before gold dust woman (It is Silver Springs a b side according to Wikipedia) that I did not ever hear on the 8 track.

Simply amazing . How many bands can say they have 3 lead singers . Especially of the caliber of Buckingham , Stevie and the late great Songbird Christine McVie .

As of Feb 2023 Rumours has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. Imagine how many more they could have sold if Silver Spring made the cut instead of being cut?!

Art Garfunkel said this was the best album ever. I must agree. This was the music of my youth. Rumours was released when I was 15.

This album reminds me of JOHN SNELL an English gentleman we worked together at VW in UITENHAGE South Africa in 1974. He went to work in Bahrain. Thank you John SNELL. From Joe " hey Joe what do you know " Bruiners. Are you well Mr SNELL. Look after yourself as this album Rumours is doing.

I was a 14 y.o. black kid from S.E. Washington D.C. (the hood) in 1978 when I heard this masterpiece for the first time. My mom (R.I.P., bless her soul) paid for my first ski trip from the Silver Spring, Md YMCA up to Snowshoe, Wv. It was a long bus trip up there, followed by two days of skiing and then back. The trip kind of changed my life – exposed me to different cultures, music (like this), perspectives, etc. Heard the whole album like 3-4 times while on the bus – and that wasn’t enough. Kids/people need more of these kind of experiences.

Why is this out of order? You skipped Songbird, and why did nobody else notice?
