The Iranians and Arab countries have contributed a lot to history and science but the u.s government has stolen all those accomplishments and make them as if the u.s discovered them.

America has always been a racist country.

When he mentioned not being Iranian enough or American enough, it really reminded me of the book Twice A Stranger. The minority's struggle is heartbreaking, and I totally relate to it. However, on the bright side, it makes us stronger and inspires us to work harder.

I will share; when our daughter called home from grad school and said, "I am really serious with my boyfriend", "Great dear where is he from?", "Oh, he is Iranian" - I had a moment of silence. As soon as we met him we thought - good job, great guy. We love his family and it has been fun learning about their culture, adds so much to our whole family!
