Not only is the moon an unwilling pawn of Majora, but he's forced to watch the people of Termina while he destroys them. The tears make a lot of sense.
ОтветитьThis Dr. Wily sounds like he gives himself swirlies
ОтветитьHeres a neato thing for y'all to check out with the telescope..
If you check on majora/skull kid on the 2nd,3rd or 6 am on the 3rd day..hes doing different stuff! (2nd day its mostly the same as the 1st day..but the 3rd day has him looking at you all creepy like and 6am on the 3rd day you can see him starting to lower the moon!)
It is this: the moon doesnt want to fall, it wants to help the people of giving light to the people in the darkness thats why he was smiling when it was still in orbit, his face clearly expresses that it fights back he doesnt want to fall and when he cries and the tear dropped is when he realized he had no power in stopping majoras magic that it has no use in resisting, i always was scared as a kid for the Moon when in reality its sad and wants to protect us but has no power in doing so..😢
ОтветитьThe moon always looked to me like it was suffering, I can see anger in its expression, but I don't think it's angry with us, or with the people of Termina, but more angry in the sense of the 5 stages of grieve. The moon feels just as doomed as the people of Termina do, as much as Link does. I wonder how sentient the moon was? Was the moon aware of all the time traveling Link did throughout the game, just like the HMS seemed to be?
ОтветитьMajora's mask's moon is a moon
ОтветитьIt has been some time. I realize this may not effect everyone, but I am particular with what I would consider to be “narration” channels or channels that are largely exposition based. Zeltik, you have an amazingly smooth speaking voice and speak quite eloquently.
When you do collaborations with other channels, while noble, it reminds me of an excerpt from LOTR- The two Towers, where Saruman is using his Voice to influence King Theoden and his men, which sounds wise and sensible, even if the men see through the trick, they still hear Gandalf’s voice as uncouth and hard on their ears, so to speak.
S0 GOOD
ОтветитьI could go two steps further than that. The longest mask quest line that gives you the Couples Mask, is all about the mayors son trying to retrieve his wedding mask. One is a sun mask and the other is a moon mask; both combining to form the Couples Mask. Another interesting thing to note, is that another name for the carnival is the Carnival of Time and both the sun and moon are used to measure the passage of time. One could then ascertain that Termina is under the direct stewardship of the Goddess of Time.
ОтветитьWhat the… its gannon. Its always been known!!! Dafuq???????????
Seriously every character returns, but gannon??? No its clearly the moon
The moon was in pain guys. It even cries.
ОтветитьIf the moon is a guardian deity of some sort for Termina... Might it be tge case that it is grimacing because it is struggling against Majora's power dragging it down? That would also explain why it doesn't fall as fast as mathematically it should, and why it suddenly falls with more force when Majora possesses it.
Perhaps more interesting, this could alter the way we think of Majora. Instead of an evil god-like being sealed in a mask, it could simply be a mass of magical power made to cause destruction by the "Interlopers", as its design is similar to the Fused Shadows. Perhaps it is not so different from the Fused Shadows.
Occams Razor, Skullkid placed the Visage of the Moon Face on the Office Sign and Office chair as a way to mock what little exists of the terminian authority in Clock Town and the Mayor and his Office Staff are just too swamped by what to do about the the city in response to the giant moon falling on them that playing clean up takes last on the priority list.
ОтветитьDdddrr de la 🎉
ОтветитьZeltik is the best Zelda you tuber button >>>>>>
ОтветитьLook at the bright side. There’s no blood moon in Termina
ОтветитьThe moon's making that face cause it's struggling against the Mask
ОтветитьI made a headcannon were The Moon's grimace is a manifestation of Majora's influence seeping out of the Mask, like when Skullkid screams. Its not the moon's anger, her gentle disaposition is being overtaken by Majora's Wrath. And it could be the Moon's influence through the Fierce Diety's mask trying to aid Link. God I love Zelsa Majora's Mask. Within a year they made a time-limit based game focused around Sun🌞/Moon🌚 tarot imagery and made a game about fighting an angry god, using the mothergducking MOON as it's weapon!!
ОтветитьDrwily's tone is a permanent sarcasm
ОтветитьThis Video Is The Most Amazing in the universe because
2 years earlier
I was playing Majora and looked around Termina... and wondered where the Actual the Moon?
I then thought the Moon was turned into this
Couple days later... This Video was uploaded 💙
Anyone think that the tears of the moon play into the tears of the kingdom powerful magic stones Furry Zelda's ancestors had? What if BotW and TotK are in the same realm as Termina?
ОтветитьWhat if, at some point in hyrule an history, the goddesses decided to imprison Null within the moon, instead of within the land?
ОтветитьButs that’s just a theory a game theory
ОтветитьI didn't think that the Moon's face looked evil. I've always imagined it as wincing or straining against the power of majora, trying desperately to break the powerful pull from majora. And it knows it is losing , so it is crying, knowing the fate of itself and those under it if it fails to break free
ОтветитьCould be me, but i always interpreted the moons face as a struggling face, or putting all it's effort into something. the stupid kid i was as a kid thought it's giving it it all to finally fall into Termina, but with this video, to me it looks like the moon is giving it it's all to NOT Crash down
ОтветитьShikashi- Dumbledore.
ОтветитьI'm onboard with the tears showing that it was being forced to do this.
For Boruto fans, think of Jigen and Isshiki.
I thought when the moon disappeared at the end, like other people, thought it returned. It most likely did, but we'll never know
ОтветитьThat is called "zeldas lunar moon"
ОтветитьI always thought the face looked more pained than angry, with this perspective it looks more like it's unwillingly being dragged down and has become aware of it, making a face one would trying to stop from smashing into the ground. Why it dissolves into rainbows🤷♀️
ОтветитьI think the fact the people refer to it as “the moon” means it’s Termina’s moon….(ps, as I was writing this, you literally said it. Well done!)
ОтветитьRemember Preston Minecraft videos with this moon
ОтветитьMajora should pull the sun to earth Instead😅
ОтветитьI wonder if luminous stones in BOTW are deposits of old moon tears
ОтветитьThe most interesting thing I've read about the moon is the physicality of it.
Purely from the speed and size of the moon, it has to be so light, the clock tower would be able to stop the moon once they make contact.
Dr Wily made me nostalgic hehe :3
ОтветитьThe OG moon is way scarier
ОтветитьDr wily sounds like the embodiment of the nerd emoji
Ответитьi knew tears of the kingdom's stones were familiar. they're the fking moon tears hahahaa
ОтветитьThe thing is… Why would it even wanna crash into the World of Termina? It would shatter from the Impact as well.
There are not that many gods or deities that even sacrafice themselves just to make people miserable. If they do they do it without harming themselves.
“Mumbo, is the moon big?”
-Termina
I think the moon is Ganon, they reused all the other characters and npcs/assets from Oot and repurposed them, so I like to believe they made Ganon the Moon, which is why he looks so tormented, and even bares a resemblance to him if you imagine hard enough.
ОтветитьMajora's Mask is a parallel world. That's stated in the game's manual. Granted, that raises as many questions as it answers. It definitely increases the Happy Mask Salesman mystery. It opens up the possibility of the Lost Woods leading to more than one alternate world. Why the Skull Kid lacks Majora's Mask in the adult portion of Ocarina of Time. Did Link stopping Ganondorf early lead to a skull kid stealing the mask?
ОтветитьYou ever see those stories about a moon or planet that’s alive and sentient, and has life living on it? I think that’s what Majora’s moon is, a sentient moon, and the Moon Children are actually its children.
Which gets even more interesting when you consider that the Moon Children look like HMS.
One other thing: does anyone else ever wonder whether the Malice eyeballs in BOTW are meant to be a nod to the MM moon’s eyes?
