Mihrimah shouldn't ask what her mother would do in her situation. Hurrem was a slave and had to tolerate other concubines, or secretly finish them off. Mihrimah is a sultana and she should have either divorced Rustem to marry a more handsome, loving man like Pedro, or she should have killed him for adultery, since sultanas had the right to be the only wife of their husband according to Ottoman laws and didn't have to tolerate co-wives.
