I really don’t understand why Mariah don’t like this song. It’s one of my favorites (studio version, not this one).

Man I was so young and in love with MC,when I saw this clip first time ,as she hits that high note (which is different from the studio version,as she does that at the end) but here so loud,clear ,I remember I cried . But the song Prisioner gave me the desire to sing. Still love her,but honestly guys,I don't like her appearance after 2010. I don't recognize her physique,hairl,etc....Yes I love all her songs but I try no to look at her anymore. I cant belive she does not love herself that much that with so many plastic surgeries she bacme unregozginable. To MC is and always remain in those early years of her career.

This was the very first time she drastically reworked a song. I remember being surprised at how different it sounded from the original and became a fan of this approach. She'd do it again with There's Got to be a Way and the C+,C Music Factory-produced Emotions, an absolute fave of mine. From the Music Box era onwards, David Morales would take over all remixing duties and produce some of the best club versions of her songs. An amazingly creative period.
