Which USB Microphone Should You buy?? Best Mic Under $150

ty, i need a new mic tbh, because im a recording artist, and i mix my music mostly and its been difficult to find a good mic

I feel like this video could have been better if you pinned the mic name in a corner, with a little red dot animation that would click on and off as you recorded with each. And then if the entire video was actually recorded using each product.

Elgato Wave 1 really impressive. usually they cut corners with usb mics would be nice if u addressed noise levels at comparable volume level

Razer sounds like shit, as expected, Rode IMO sounds the best of them all. Sudotack sounds a bit muffled and flat yet for $49 you get the whole kit (and still sounds times better than Razer).

Dont buy the hyperx quadcast unless you want endless headaches trying to figure out why your keybaord still picked up with noise supression different positions. Gain turned all the way down etc. I hate the mic its not that great dont buy it cuz of rgb

Question - if I enable some effects & settings on windows using the RØDE Connect software. Will it be carried over to other devices, like my PS5 or iPad. Bcz I cannot install any software on those devices to control this mic. Please can you answer???
I am looking forward to this only on my PS5 for streaming, gaming recording. I saw that this has a NOISE GATE built in which is triggered by the software. And software is only on Windows & Mac. So what I'm thinking is, I'll connect this mic to my windows laptop, enable noise filter & then take this to my PS5/ipad. But i need to know if the setting done on windows software will work on ps5/ipad.

Hello! Im starting to take my content creation seriously and I was hoping g that you could help me with my mic choice.
The two mics that are in question are the:
Blue yeti nano
And the
Elgato wave DX
Both have similar audio however one is usb and one is xlr,
Xlr does make it a little harder, but the elgato wave dx has the perfect polar pattern for me.
What should I do?

I don’t know which of these microphones is best, but one thing that I’ve noticed is that none of mikes indicate directionality.

It would be nice if they made a USB mike with a digital direction control.

Right now, the intended audio-source of a shotgun mike is directed foreword. A shared mike is supposedly omnidirectional. But there’s no adjustment available on either kind.

So a mike could have an adjustment knob which incrementally shifts the incoming audio from “Shotgun” to “Omni”. Even drummers with several mikes could use them to mix audio before it gets to the sound engineer.

In the future, if you're doing an audio comparison it would be great to drop the background music.

Consider the Samson q2u with a dak. You will pay less money than most of these mics and get the benefits of XLR. Food for thought.

Useless if you do not say if these are condenser or dynamic and show drop off when speaking from a distance.
