Thanks for another well done video. We follow the suggestions but are a little frustrated by the tankless water in our new trailer. It seems it must have high flow through the shower head to work, and turns cold when paused. We keep a bucket for the wasted water to pour into the black tank. For limited hookups, I think I prefer a tank type water heater, and may switch to one soon.

Good tips, John. We love no hookup campgrounds, because they are usually quieter and less traffic. We have our R-Pod set up to go a 5-6 days without running out of power or tank space. We usually have to add 5-10 gallons of water to the freshwater tank during the stay after initial fill up. These tips will help.

We take navy showers and use the tolit facility and wash stations when possible. Also, keep a couple of gallons of water on hand. Always enjoy your informative expertise. 😊 TY

Great Video John! I have a 2013 Jayco 284BHE and I am fortunate that my water heater is less than 15 inches of the Tub/Shower. Instant hot water. The kitchen sink, well that is a different story, like 15 feet away. Back when we did a lot of dry camping the wife started using vinegar and water in a spray bottle to wash each dish. This kept the water usage down considerably, paper towel usage up some what. Fast forward to now... we mostly use paper plates.

All great information for the newbies. Only thing I do different with my Casita . After boon docking I put in a port to allow me to actually wipe and dry out my water holding tank . Thanks for sharing John !😁👍

Good sound advice for all of us! One thing I could add: when washing dishes, we heat our hot water for dishwashing on the stove in a pan. This eliminates wasted cold water initially running through the hot water lines at the kitchen sink.
I really like your idea of catching the cold water at the shower while waiting for the hot water to reach the shower head!

Thank you for sharing your experience! How about your Toyota Tundra so far? Are you planning to replace it for a new one already?

Hello sir. What nozzle adaptor do you use for your Scepter water container, to be able to pour it in your RV? I can’t seem to find one that fits the threads correctly.
