The biggest thing to have is a massive ego. No, you won't swap genji even though you're getting hard countered. No, you won't play hitscan just to deal with the pharmercy. If all people need to do to beat you is to pick one of your "counters", then you'll never get to play genji. Learn to get value even when the situation isn't favorable.

As an old Moira main turned pharah/sym main I like using pharah to dive the enemy team or hold choke points but if the enemy tank is just ignoring our tank n going for our squishies I’ll switch to sym to try to shred their tank. I just know I’ve been thinking about picking up genii for the hitscan players that actually can aim😂😭
