The 2023 Toyota Prius Is New and Shockingly Gorgeous

Its definitely a step up from the precious designs and definitely worth the price tag.

I hate that I like the way it looks. I have a Jeremy Clarkson level of disdain for the Prius mostly due to the people that drive them plus, historically, they’ve looked hideous . But I’m finding it hard to hate the new design.

for me it would cost $20 per month to drive to work at 54 mpg. How is the gov allowing this? hmm

I'm a gearhead and I really liked my 2nd gen, it was such a well made car. It was taken out by a minivan, the Prius was mangled, but it did its job and the occupants came out of the crash ok.

I bought the car just to flip it because I got a great deal on it, but quickly came to recognize what a good car it was. I had my GF drive it for a few days while I serviced her beloved Jeep Liberty and she decided to keep the Prius. Initially she chose it just because the economy made sense, but then she came to love it.

This is a grandpa's car, I will be laughed by my friends all year long if I buy this car.

That’s not a hidden compartment…. It has a GIANT crack and button outline that would make your eyes go to it. Then an arrow that anyone would clearly push on and figure out what it does… stupid.

Honestly this car is garbage after watching this review. Toyota gets too cheap sometimes the car is beautiful. But for 37k I would expect an electric motor so assist in speed at least .

I really like the Prius. Unfortunately, our garage opens on an alley which isn't conducive to low ground clearance. The Prius doesn't seem to have much ground clearance.

Toyota is really one of few car builders today that builds great looking cars. Now we just need a gr prius with a little bit of power. Maybe the engine of the gr86.

This is still a slow, boring car. Mid 7 seconds 0-60 is slower than some SUVs.

Now, if they made a 300HP version, game over! America not only want nice looking things, they want POWER.

Although I own a Prius Gen. 3, I couldn’t even think about buying a hybrid considering the multiple levels of complexity involved in the drive train, compared to a simple EV, as well as NEVER doing any oil changes, never going to the dealership for purchase or service, and rarely charging it outside of my garage. Then there is the over the air updates of the Tesla making it future-proof, the top safety levels, the vertically manufactured domestically in the USA, and the historic looming update on the horizon for all Tesla’s…

I can't help but think.... This looks like it was designed by Sony. The interior and infotainment screen especially.

One should define what is fast for them and why do they need 'fast' car. I drive a minivan which probably is a slowest one on the road. However, I do not feel that way as everyone has to abide the speed limits. If fast is going fast once light is green, then to me its a wrong definition. Prius is not a long drive or a highway drive vehicle, it a daily city commute. I think its doing great in that way without worrying to charge now and then. However, I agree there are options and everyone is free to choose. Just my personal opinion.....

No wonder why most Prius are slow and hated by most other drivers. I thought the car were evil who turned drivers into zombies but now I know, it simply cannot pick up the pace.

Absolutely great car!!! Still have a 2006 (still going strong) & a 2021, both are phenomenal! Very low maintenance!

Hopefully toyota doesn't lose reliability and longevity in their pursuit of cool and sexy

Drove the prius iii for 365kkm, never experienced it would be slow. In fact, it was quite fast relative to non hybrids

Prius wouldn't be a bad car if they cut the acceleration to about 6 seconds - otherwise they will always be more hated than 18 wheelers or harley's and lawyers (ranking just below pedophiles).

For viewing the gages, how dose this work for a short person? Seems like I’m going to be peering over the steering wheel and then down at a weird angle for my height possibly?
