My fav moment in the entire series (aside from looking at the abyss watchers cinematic for the first time) has to ve when i decided to play dark souls one and it was time to fight ornstein and smaug, i was well aware of their fame before the fight began

I first tried it, however, i mena this in the most literal sense, i used every single healing method available for this fight, all of them, depleted, even the miracle thing that heals you 100%, all, and still ended the fight with little hp left

That shit was stressful, but i was so happy when the fight ended

I know these games ain't made for me, that's why I don't play them.

I understand how discouraging the Souls-like games are. And that's the reason I fear, respect and probably will never play them......... Eventually 🤔.

It's taken me a week to get to the spider boss in this game. Ill be playing it 6 months at this pace lol 😅

Well to be honest demon's souls is the second hardest in the series of fromsoftware games. Not a good one to start with. Ive beaten most fromsoft games and i still cant grasp this one.

I played Mortal Shell earlier this year and sure it was hard but once you got the hang of it, it went pretty well and was straight forward. And know I‘m trying the OG 2008 Demons souls and immediately after the first enemy encounter I was like: Ah shit, here we go again

Ill never forget the pain of nioh 2 snake boss

then mid game he's level 500 complaining the game got too easy

This would feel more accurate if it was like he made his way through the game, was taking an easy time getting through everything, then hits the first boss where they get their first death. They respawn and suddenly find themselves dying before even reaching the boss, then sooner, and then sooner after that until the point that they die the moment they respawn, and then finally leading to the player getting mad and doing all kinds of over the top crap so they can "get back" at the game.

Street Fighter requires more skill.

This exact reason is why I played bloodborne first because I read it was one of the easier ones. But man after a few hours of playing I didn’t care about the difficulty anymore because I absolutely loved the lore and story of bloodborne. I really hope bloodborne 2 comes out soon.

I managed to beat Demon’s souls without dying after 13 attempts. I still remember the feeling of agony after being one-shotted 5 hours into my play through… MULTIPLE TIMES 🫠

I want to say I never once role played in souls games. Hell I forget that this is an rpg knowing how I’m over there running and fighting for my life.

Currently playing OG Demon's Souls for the first time and I think the difficulty is alright, the hype about it's difficulty is kinda overblown imo. There are some really hard areas though, like world 4.
Now I'm at the last area that needs to clear (world 1), fighting Penetrator.

The great thing about these games is that you can't just run around swinging your sword and pounce on a crowd of enemies alone. In Souls games, tactics and combat techniques come first.

Not even a Dark Souls game

Just started my first Souls game ever (Elden Ring). I’m quite enjoying myself so far!

Man the same dread hit me in Dark Souls 1. I stuck with it, and now I’ve been through and beaten every Soulsborn game and love them to death!
I do remember that same doubt, thinking of myself. I must be terrible at games. But I wasn’t given up for nothing.

Funny how when I first watched this video, I was the guy on the right. Then I played and completed Demons Souls, Sekiro and Dark Souls 3. Got the Platinum in Bloodborne and Elden Ring too.
Now I’m the guy on the left 😅

Sekiro was my first Souls game, it was prob "easier" to pick up since I haven't had the roll embedded in my DNA. But unfortunately it kind of ruined other souls games for me, I now think they all play too slow for my liking and that kind of sucks. The only one that is fast enough for me is Bloodborne.

I'm rolling and I'm dodging and still dying is literally any huge ass boss in a tiny arena lmfao. Souls games and spin offs are the best. Playing through sekiro when I finish the last 2 endings of elden ring
