Arturia MiniFuse 1 and 2 USB Audio Interface - REVIEW (sound test)

What are good headphones for the Minifuse audio interface please ?

Strange you didnt mentioned NI Komplete 6 MKII. Seems like biggest minifuse competitor, especially to minifuse 4. Has same features, but one plus for Native Instruments is, that it has input meters for all inputs, which are not unfortunately present on any minifuse. Also seems like in noise is Native Instruments better. The only drawback for NI is software, Arturia software is much better. Unfortunately I ddidnt find any direct comparsion review NI Komplete 6 MKII vs Minifuse 4. Anybody here who tested both?

Hi there!) Choosing a audio interface now to start podcasting. Got a zoom zdm 1 mic and looking to take either arturia minifuse 2 or podtrak p4. Anything in this price range that I might miss? May be you got a better solution - I d like a good gain there and less noise. Thanks a ton for any advice!!

Can MiniFuse be used as a PC audio card? Just to output sound from a PC without the need to use it for recording.

These are the very best reviews I've found. I'm stuck somewhere in-between Volt 2, Audient iD4 MKII and the MiniFuse 2. Would love to know which you might choose. But I realize you may not be ale to answer!

I just bought one a week ago and discovered the issue that everyone eventually finds. I am surprised that he didnt mention it in this video, because it is actually a huge hassle, a major oversight ion Arturia's part and would have been nice to know before I bought it. When your computer goes to sleep, the mini fuse 1/2 will disconnect. The only way to connect it again is to restart or shutdown then boot up your computer. So if you are in the middle of a song, and you step away for a half hour, as typically happens from time to time and your computer goes to sleep? Well you have to save everything and shutdown/restart then reopen everything. NO THSANKS! I returned it, because I can get very similar interfaces that are similarly priced that DO NOT have that problem. Otherwise, I really liked it. But FAIL Arturia, shame on you! I decided to get a Moto M2 in replacement. Sorry Arturia, you had your chance.

Excellent as usual! What confuses me is that the focusrite 3rd gen 2i2 and the 3rd gen solo have different specs, I thought that they were the same product minus the extra input etc. The fact that the upper range clarett 2 pre has higher preamp noise than the solo?! I’m on the fence over the mini fuse 2, and the volt 2 at the moment. What puts me off the volt is people saying that you hear crackles and pops when you turn the monitor and headphones controls. Don’t want something that is too prone to dust etc

Hi Julian, I watched a few of your interfaces reviews and I have a question. Usually the interfaces INPUTS are labeled for use with either a microphone OR a guitar. I'd like to know how this works for keyboard players? Using the MIC input to record a synthesizer, for example?

And should I use a TRS or regular 1/4" jack? I also use the interface for virtual instruments and soft synths (Kontakt, Spitfire, Omnisphere, Zebra, etc). Thanks!

(I have an Audient i14MKII at home, but I'm looking for something for live gigs so I don't have to disconnect the interface every time).

What would happen if I were to use 16ohm IEMS with this audio Interface? Would I be able to here the noise floor?

Unfortunately, I don't really understand the measurement of latency.

In this Video the MiniFuse is said to have a bit more latency than other audio interfaces in this price range. Then I watched other videos of yours to compare.
There, for example, a latency of 7.7 ms is specified for the current Focusrite Scarlett at 48 - 64, for the Motu M2 9.1 ms, but only 6.6 ms for the Minifuse (which is better, isn't it?).
Are there any objective comparison options for the latency?
How do I find out which audio interface has the best latency, that's extremely important to me? Is there a current comparison table somewhere?

Could you please confirm if the minifuse 1 supports windows' "loudness equalization" feature from the "enhancements" tab in sound device properties for the headphone output?
If not, can you recommend any other audio interface that does support this feature?

Arbeite an einem Mac und hätte gerne Loopback. Multitracking bieten die Einsteigermodelle ja leider alle nicht an, wäre aber sicher ganz nett. Als Kamera dient (aktuell noch) ein iPhone. Die Anzahl der Kopfhöreranschlüsse ist doch eigentlich egal, weil ich die über die Mics direkt laufen lassen kann. Würde aber gerne Deine Empfehlung hören. Vielen lieben Dank!

Can I use DT 770 Pro 80 ohms with this interface ?

i"m assuming the minifuse 1 or 2 and the DT 770 80ohm headphones would be a better pairing than with the 250ohm versions?

New subscriber here.. great content! How about comparing this to the CAD CX2 Connect II? If you aren't familiar, CAD make some very high quality Microphones. Maybe their inexpensive audio interface is a GREAT value..

i tested the evo 4 and arturia minifuse 1. i had lot of problems and bad
interference signals when my i phone is near to me. but with the minifuse i had nothing and just clean signal all day. shure sm 7b , fet head and minifuse 1

Hello! In your opinion, which are better for recording guitar Motu M2 or Arturia MiniFuse 2?

I noticed the following defect - if in Windows the volume is 100% and in the player 100%, then at the minimum volume level (the knob is turned all the way to the left), music is still heard in the headphones and everything is clearly audible. Do you have such a problem?

I got a quick question. I got mine 3 days ago and upon testing and scrutinizing this interface, only to find out that it's a bit odd that when I turned the gain knob at its minimum, it is still capturing a sound. Is that normal? Or should I ask for replacement. Thanks in advance.

I do have a question about the usb hub. I am in the market for a interface and have a semi dj / producer setup. The mini fuse 4 would be great I think as it have 4 usb inputs. I would like to use the usb inputs for my Maschine and / or Traktor / M32 (all NI products). My question is, can I record at different channels in my DAW while using the usb hub? Or would you recommend another setup?

I bought the MiniFuse1 recently and noticed that even when turning the Monitor volume knob all the down I can still hear some faint audio signal. Is this expected or a faulty unit?
