They upgraded the tires on the 2017 and up models which made it hard to get sideways, I will be getting cheap tires next

Not really, it was developed by BOTH Toyota and Subaru. The only one that's slightly "fake" is the Scion FR-S that we get here in the states. Since Scion had nothing to do with the development of the car, but is of course basically a Toyota.

Clarkson's hyperbole never ceases. Ages must not be a long time in Clarkson time because I remember him saying the best car he'd driven since the original Golf GTI was the BMW 1M. And that was in Series 18.

It is the proper successor to the famous AE86, completely shit engine, handling, etc. but somehow that shitstorm of fail somehow balances out to make an awesome drift ride.

Finally, a Top Gear review where Clark isn't bashing Toyota. I like how when he mentioned the relatively low bhp, he was conscious to point out that the car's good points override it.

Because Scion is a badge toyota made for there "fake" custom car line-up, there good cars, but they were marketed to Fast and Furious wannabees, I would buy the FRS though and strip the badges.

I want this car more and more every time I hear about it. I'm only 17 though, so I don't know how I'll save up to buy it ;_;

they wanted to keep the price low, its mainly just cosmetics with most parts u can get from ebay (push button start, spoiler, exhaust tips, toyota logo, etc) they assumed the buyer is going to swap out those parts and tune the car anyways)

And scion isn't so bad, sure they're not fast but they are fuel efficient and safe, and that means a lot to a good number of people.

lol clarkson always does this, he trashes a car in the first few opening comments then says its the greatest car ever. if he says its awesome right off the bat, then expect a negative overall view. and what season is this?

The GT86 is hardly ugly. Sure there are a lot of better looking cars but it is by no means ugly.
