Contrary to others who gave their comments I care a lot on how Freddy mercury contracted HiV ,and I don't believe in the myth that stats HIV is different from Aids ,it is the worst thing that can happen to me in this life and I am so Glad I am a Christian ,I pray the God who doesn't want people to engage in sex outside of marriage , Jesus Christ the God who is so against homosexuality as well

It's difficult to understand that even with the scientific community stating that AIDS will kill you, many continue to be promiscuous. Almost as if, like primates, can't be responsible or control themselves.

I think the saddest thing about all of this is the fact that treatment for AIDS came out a few months after he died. So, if he had it, he probably would still be alive today but he missed it by about a month. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Back in Freddy's days, celebs partied hard.....did drugs and had lots of sex, especially group sex. When high on drugs or alcohol, you don't think of wearing a condom if you're a male (unless you are extremely mentally assertive). Unfortunately, all of the different sex partners and not practicing safe sex, gave him AIDS. He had an awesome party hard life, but it did cost him his life if you know what I mean. If someone close to me was dying from AIDS, I wouldn't care a bit. I would still help them with feeding and cleaning them and helping them in any way I possibly can. I have catch 20 syndrome (low immune system) but if my sacrifice will mean making me sick, then it's all worth it. To make a dying person comfortable in their last moments would mean the world to me. It is known who infected Freddy Mercury and it was the same person who infected Kenny Everette after they were introduced to each other by Freddy himself.

Since this is about his contracting AIDS and not music, he was a gay sex addict with hundreds of "sex partners" there is no way to know who passed on the HIV virus to him. He himself probably didn't know. Maybe he contracted it in a gay bath house with someone he didn't even know the name of. Prove me wrong.

Its revisionist history to even suggest it. Over 80% of AIDS diagnoses were gay men and 67% of all diagnoses overall. It was a disease that primarily affected the gay male community and that never changed. Heterosexual couples were far less at risk no matter the number of partners, and blood transfusion cases ala Ryan White or Arthur Ashe were relatively few and far between. Doesnt take an ounce away from Freddys immense talent and legacy but its important to get the facts straight when speaking on something so important.

Jim Hutton wasn't his hairdresser, he met Jim in a club named Heaven in March of 1985, and they went on to become partners for the rest of Mercury's life. Freddie never "came out" and told the world he was gay, he kept his private life private. This video is ridiculous. Showing covers of The Sun and The Star. Such rags. This would've hurt Freddie immensely. Mary Austin got 10 million of the 75 million from Freddies estate and she got Garden Lodge. Jim Hutton got 500 million. Freddie Mercury didn't write or authorize the statement that was put out stating he had AIDS. His manager did that on his own. Freddie would never have done that.

This video is such a soft sell of the truth, if not out right dismissing many of the facts already documented in other documentaries some with Brian May. One i remember Brian May and others knew of Freddy's lifestyle, can't say he hid it much, and the band knew and man warned Freddy to be careful. To which Freddy openly rejected the warnings. Think one documentary talks about Freddy's reletionship with a couple Russian guys and notied his circle of friends, many of whom died of AIDS a number of years before Freddy and suggest that this group of man is where/who Freddy got the bug from...

But this video is such a poor documentary because of the way they handle the truth here.
