Shit is hard af to learn and master, but these guys who listen to cbum, other bodybuilders and only know eddie hall bcs he lifted 500 conv. Yeah with suit straps and that isn’t cheating? You know nothing about strength training. Sumo is way better not because of rom, but because of the load you put on your spine. If i trained conv only, I couldn’t squat as much and overall would have been more fatigued.
Also for all the haters. My sumo is 270kg and last time i pulled conv i did 250 easily, so there is not much of difference, but still prefer sumo.

ОтветитьI did a conventional 507 pounds/230 kg for my limit at the time. On a different lifting day I did a rack pull to add 3-4 inches ROM and cleared
6+ for a 4 to 5 reps. Let’s not pretend there aren’t advantages with sumo

ОтветитьNot that difficult when using a deadlift bar on a platform with bumper plates.. then not wearing shoes and using figure 8 straps to not even need to hold the bar.
