Baldur's Gate 3 Playthrough [Part 1]

Ooooh. Dark elf! Nice choice. One of my favorites in D&D was dark elf necromancer. But it's not such an open class that you could pick it from any of the basic books. You had to ask your dungeon master permission to build that character and he'd go and give you guidance on how to even do that. Because back in the day, necromancers weren't in the main books at all but only referenced in some of the magazines mostly. So in a 3.5 game I actually got to play one but.... my group had a paladin in it so.... but yeah, that necro killed the paladin early on because he was so annoying to my ever casting my spells. Even with "good" explanation. Like I was trying to promote it this way - that all the necro lined spells COULD be used for good if used from a good hearted point of view, right? So my summon skeleton companion.... THAT was my "puppet"... and nothing more to me. Just a guy I could send, say, at a bar to go bring us back all a bunch of ales and such from time to time. Funny little guy. Convenient and maybe a little crazy to see at times but yeah. Not evil. Just a fancy little "puppet" for me to play with now and again. Right?
However soon as the DM gave me a hammer of death I experimented, almost HAD to, and gave that paladin a little light tap-tap on the head with it. No, not to do blunt damage or anything, just a light little tap-tap on the head and.... one die roll later and the paladin died, group tied me up, threatened to kill me. I apologized, explained, yadda-yadda-yadda.... and all went well. LOL.
Yeah, paladin and necromancer in the same group.... that's never going to work out so well in D&D. Now you take EverQuest for example - they don't care about alignment stuff. So the Paladin winds up getting free life tap exchanges to be "healed" by the necromancer all the time and, SO....... thank you Satan and stuff. LOL.

My durge meph tiefling storm sorcerer/fighter/swords bard would be so shocked to see how things started

One thing about BG3 that kinda annoys me has nothing to do with the game itself. I'm just annoyed that they didn't put Karlach on the cover art.

i just gave into the peer pressure and spent the 90$ top buy the game so me being me of course im watching a playthrough while i wait the 6 hours for it to download lol

I hate it how bad the Dragonborn are in BG3 (and thus DnD 5th edition rules). They have literally no features aside from the dragonic breah and resistance. A friend told me how the Dragonborn were in 3.5 edition rules and holy fuck do they sound awesome. They're even better at intimidation than 5th ed. half-orcs are.

Still, I did my 2nd solo playthrough with a Golden Dragonborn barbarian AND joined a friend's game as a Green Dragonborn paladin (oathbreaker) 😂 they're just way too cool!

Hope to see more of your BG content, Kruz, because I now have 8 characers in total and 550h of gameplay in it 😄 and still I find new stuff every day I play

The addiction is real. I’ve completed three playthrus and have 500 hrs gameplay time. Started Pathfinder Kingmaker but honestly wanna start another BG evil playthru.

Kruz & Narrator both as sibling Drow is BG3's equivalent to Vox Machina's Half-Elf Basser twins Vex & Vax on Critical Role imo. Both are an amazing pairing with a great game-play dynamic. I'd like to see the game playthrough of these two streamers paired up with Kara Corvus and either Skadj or Graecii. I believe that it would be quite the entertaining team up. Now for the other end of the spectrum for a royally f'ed up comical shit show playthrough I say team up Ozza, Cheesy, TayderTot, and Chilled then watch all Hell break loose. However I fear that that last team up might succeed in breaking BG3 tbh.🙊🙊😱😱😂😂😂
