Very interesting.  I always seen this game but never really knew how it all played.  Great video.

It is a shame when you lose pieces to older board games, like the dice for this one. Sometimes you can have a work around. Like with the dice, I'd say you could use a regular die, with 1 and 2 being red, 3 and 4 being yellow, and 5 and 6 being either. Something like that. :P Maybe a bit of a pain, but at least it lets you play the game. Still, this looks like a fun game to play. Good review! :)

I think that 4 coins buy you a life. so if a player lands on enemy they can stay in game buy turning over 4 coins.

After reading the instructions on how to play the game, you weren't too far off. 😀 I would print them and keep it with the box. As for the die, you can easily make one with some red, yellow, and STOP stickers. I would think you can fund a die making kit at a craft store. worth a try at least so you can have the complete set. It would make resale value go up to, it'd you ever decided to sell that is. Great review! Maybe do a follow up review with the manual on hand?

I love the fact that Mario is wearing his original jumpman plumber outfit here with the red hat, red overalls, and blue shirt. They should have always kept Mario like that.
