Professional certification will destroy a lot of good herbal healers just because of their basic education while they do have the skills to be a competent Herbalist a lot of people down south can’t count or spell but they can heal the sick with a dandelion

I have been wanting to study herbalism for several years. Every time I look for schools, it didnt sit well so i didnt proceed. Just this week, I heard and felt "It is time" then made a detailed plan on how to study herbalism with body systems at home. It will be a ton of research.... but it will be at my own pace, no additional cost, and is designed to be more of Naturopathic studies. Your video was a pleasant confirmation! Thank you for posting.

Great video! I agree. I personally think it is a calling and a healing gift. For me it is a spiritual connection but something that is also in my DNA passed down from grandparents and most likely some others before them. I am naturally drawn to plants and herbs but was inspired after I became sick and saw that it worked when nothing else did! I think for me I desire learning and although I have the ability to understand how herbs work together I still want to make sure I know i am doing it correctly, responsibly. I want to help and never harm so I will continue to be taught and trained along my path not just for certification but greater assurance, safety and feedback.

Ask an herbalist if he uses aconite and how. (I do btw) love that herb. RX drugs don’t have the full spectrum an herb does which are safety controls. Btw i don’t use valerian. Better to use jatamansi , same effects but does not dull the mind. Actually sharpens the mind.

“Hello, I’m an herbalist, I can’t do anything to make you any better, but I’m about to make you well” dancing around language sucks. I have never had any issues, never killed anyone, people who are open to healing generally accept you as you are and are not litigious. But you are right, it’s always in the back of someone’s mind. Never take on cases that are out of your skill set. Not at least without full disclosure. If you stick to laws of energetic medicine you are much safer. Either Tcm or Ayurveda. Without that I’d say it can be quite dangerous to practice. For those who are not operating within the energetic system I do not mean to offend. Always ask for feedback, you learn so much from what doesn’t work. Thanks for your videos.

I very much enjoy your videos, and send many people to your information. As young as you are, you have a lot of knowledge about the healing powers of Nature. You truly have a deep connection to the plants and how universal principles work. We need more herbalists like you. Thank you for all you do!!!! There is one thing I disagree with you is your promotion of The Herbalist Guild (AHG). This organization is very cliquish and discriminating in my experience. As Rosemary Gladstar told me years ago, "when one joins an organization it creates politics". I find that AHG is very politically motivated.

Well said. I know in some states such as mine have some really important loopholes. Like Patients=License, clients=no license. Prescribe=license, recommend=no license. I in no way condone practicing without proper knowledge and understanding. Just saying check the laws they might put you at rest.

Thank you. Really enjoyed this. Im a massage therapist who has been learning about herbs since childhood. My father has taught me a lot. He’s from mexico and has a lot of knowledge without ever taking classes. Between my father, few classes, books and my own experiences i have gained a lot of knowledge.
