Furniture Consignment Gallery Deal of the Week 1_27_11

This week's Furniture Consignment Gallery's deal of the week is this fabulous Jacobian influenced server, which came from an estate in Milton from the owner who had lived in London for several years and purchased it over there and brought it here. It is on casters because in the old days they would have wheeled the food from the kitchen to the dining room.
We like to be creative with furniture, and see what we could do with this in our home today. One of the things we think we could do with this is use it as a bar. Inside a nice wine rack would fit underneath, and you could add a display rack to hang your wine glasses underneath. Now you have taken an older piece of furniture and really brought it to life. We think that this has leather wrapped details as well.

It has a beautiful patina with fantastic carvings and very solid hardware. We think it's a great deal at just $575.00!
