Inquiry-Based Learning: From Teacher-Guided to Student-Driven

This video reminds me of the inquiry continuum: Confirmation inquiry, structured inquiry, guided inquiry, and open inquiry. Inquiry-based learning is asking students to practice what they have learned to explore unknown concepts and unsolved questions. Such teaching strategies can be used in disciplines, like science. I wonder how inquiry-based learning can be used in literacy teaching.

Great methods, but I wonder how much of those supplies the teachers paid for themselves.

My favorite part here was where you started showing that inquiry is NOT limited to science. Going to ART showed the kids the importance of inquiry. Ralson Elementary, thank you for sharing.
