Fun fact: when theres an earthquake (atleast from my limited experience) there actually is a rumbling sound. whether from items on the ground shifting or yhe actual ground itself, idk. But in the 2 (very minor) quakes ive been in, i could hear a rumbling sound.

You would think that any building on the san andreas fault or anywhere near it, would be reinforced against earthquakes like crazy.
Makes me glad I live in the UK, no earthquakes, no hurricanes, just crap politicians and nasty people around every city.
