GoogleFi is terrible for domestic service, but nice to have if you're travelling internationally and want service the second you land. Verizon prepaid is pretty terrible in my experience, they deprioritize their prepaid customers data like crazy vs AT&T prepaid. I easily get 4 - 10x the speed on AT&T over Verizon prepaid networks.

What about taking over/buying somebody else's prepaid plan, then you wouldn't have to provide your info if you wanted to go the AT&T route.
